I found this sweet graphic a long time ago. It was either on Pixabay or Pinterest. I updated it for this post and made a few additions. I wanted it to be for all our children.

Of course my favorite is Erma Bombeck. I always loved her. Great quotes!
ReplyDeleteI always loved her humor Ginny, what a lovely lady she was. She brought so much laughter and smiles into our lives :)
DeleteThese all are wonderful and good to read, Denise.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, thank you Margaret :)
DeleteI love Winnie the Pooh , and Greta's comment was so sweet.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorites Janice :)
DeleteHello Denise,
ReplyDeleteThey are all great quotes. I especially like the Erma Bombeck quote and the Coffey nature quote. Happy June! Take care, enjoy your day! Happy week ahead!
Thank you Eileen, two great quotes :) Happy June and I wish you the same :)
DeleteGreat quotes Denise :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you Ananka :)
DeleteThey're all great quotes but I have two favorites, the Winnie The Pooh and Erma Bombeck.
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful quotes. thank you Ann :)
DeleteThe one above by Coffey resonates with me. I am living proof that it is true.
ReplyDeleteI thought of you when I found this quote David, especially as I had seen your latest post :)
DeleteMy wife actually did that — inserted herself in the playpen although it was more just a restricted area meant to keep the child safe. Said child was out and Sue was in.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I love your humor John, thank you both for the smile :)
DeleteOh, love them all- Erma Bombeck and Fred Roger's and Anonymous are my favorites. That one about giving them something great to imitate, I will send to my son and daughter in law. They have 9 month old baby!
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful Kay, two of the greats for sure :) I am delighted you are going to send one to your son and daughter-in-law for their baby. Quotes always make you think, which is why I have always loved quotes.
DeleteYour quotes are lovely—and how we treat children really is so important! The picture is wonderful; I love it!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Elke
Sweet of you to say Elke, thank you so much and you spoke true words, so important! Glad you loved the picture, I did too. Hugs, Denise :)
DeleteThe things that make me different are the things that make me me.” - Winnie the Pooh This is my favourite! Happy June, Denise.
ReplyDeleteHi Angie, isn't that such a powerful turn of phrase? Loved that too :) Happy June Angie!
DeleteWinnie the Pooh
ReplyDeleteOh yes, dear wise old Winnie the Pooh :) Thanks Regine!
DeleteFred Rogers had a special way of seeing and understanding children. We all can learn from him.
ReplyDeleteHe certainly did Marcia and yes we can :)
DeleteI can go along with the C.S. Lewis quote and I have to admit there were times I wanted to be in a padded playpen, LOL! Children are to be nurtured and taught, not left on their own.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I think we've all felt that at some point in our child-rearing days :) I agree!
DeleteLovely selection
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine :)
DeleteI love Winne's words of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteHugs and I hope Gregg is better and you are still well
Cecilia
Thank you so much Cecilia, he's progressing in the right direction :) and yes on Winnie the Pooh! Hugs, Denise

ReplyDeleteI agree with you Granny Sue, they certainly are :)
DeleteThe Graphic is so cute!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite hands down:
“The things that make me different are the things that make me me.” - Winnie the Pooh
I'm happy you like it Sandie and yes, that's right up there :) Profound!
DeleteI really liked these.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful, thank you Mary :)
DeleteMany thanks for these Denise and that illustration at the end of your post is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI do hope Gregg is feeling a little better now.
My good wishes to you both.
All the best Jan
You are very welcome Jan :) so happy you liked my sign off too. Thank you for that and for your kind words regarding Gregg's cough and cold. I send the same good wishes to you and all the best, Denise
DeleteLos niños deben ser amados. Te mando un beso.

DeleteEstoy 100 por ciento de acuerdo contigo, y muchas gracias por comentar. Te mando un beso :)
It's hard to big a favorite. I love quotes and you found some good ones!
ReplyDeleteI agree Erika and thank you so much. I love quotes too and enjoy finding those that speak to me :) They remind me of what is important in life.
DeleteOh, some of these children quotes are wonderful, Denise. Children are special little people, and they should be protected and loved always. I like the "imitators" quote, and it's true. If our children take after us, then we should act in a good way accordingly. I've heard of the "playpen" quote before, it's funny. Thanks for sharing these, Denise. They really are delightful.
ReplyDeleteHappy June!
I am very happy you like them Sheri, and you are very welcome. I couldn’t agree with you more. Thank you and Happy June to you also :)
DeleteI like all your quotes on children.
ReplyDeleteThat’s great Red, thank you :)
Deleteooooh i really enjoyed this but did not pick a favorite. they were all so good and i really liked the graphics, is that you at the end??
ReplyDeleteSymbolically yes, that’s me at the end says I with a big smile. I read dozens of quotes, many that I liked very much, could have published them all but chose these as I loved them so :)
DeleteSymbolically yes (I'm adding this to your question) though she is no longer on the end but 2nd from the left now. I've tweaked my graphic a little more to add a couple more children.
DeleteSo many gems here, Denise!
ReplyDeleteThe one that touched me most is Fred Rogers’-- accepting ourselves and our children exactly as we are feels like the heart of parenting.
Thank you for gathering these beautiful reminders. 🌸
You are very welcome Veronica Lee and thank you. I am delighted you enjoyed them. Fred Rogers was a very kind and wise man :)
DeleteSweet quotes!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Donna
Thank you Donna :)
DeleteThese are wonderful quotes. Thanks for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Jeanie. So glad you enjoyed.
DeleteThose are all so good. The fairy one reminds me of, did you see this one yet, it's a dog that puts on butterfly wings that have fairy lights and the pup spins in front of the mirror. Sooooo sweet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ivy, no I haven’t seen that one yet. Sounds adorable! I will have to do a search.
