The Mourning Doves were very polite and didn't groan. I am happy they are visiting still.
After being largely absent for many months, this little chipmunk turned up.
There's hope yet, so did the House Finch. Not a very good photo but it will help the old memory box.
That’s all she’s got for this Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder.
The birds are slowly coming back.
Have a great weekend everyone,
and thanks for visiting

1st photo:
“She needs to pick her leaves out of the water. I’m tired of them.”
2nd Photo:
“Which reminds me. What do trees say every year? I’m ready to turn over a new leaf.”
"And they all fell in the water dish."
“Oh boy!”
Denise, I don't get to see doves and I think they are beautiful and peaceful birds. How lovely they come to visit you ❤️ The bird's chat made me laugh. The 🐿 and finch are a delight to see. Thank you so much for sharing, dear friend 🧡
ReplyDeleteSo glad this made you laugh Linda and you are very welcome dear friend :)
DeleteYou got a wonderful photo of the cute little chipmunk! I love the title, as I love crows.

DeleteSweet photographs. The birds and other visitors will appreciate the food as the days grow colder.
ReplyDeleteThank you Janice, happy you enjoyed :) I expect you are correct on the colder days.
DeleteSo nice to see birds back at the feeders. It's going to be a busy place. I think my favorites are the mourning doves.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann, slowly but surely :) The mourning doves are a favorite.
DeleteLOL..always a pleasure to visit your Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder, Denise.
ReplyDeleteThat’s wonderful Angie and thank you very much for letting me know :)
DeleteThe mourning doves are more polite than me. I groaned!
ReplyDeleteLOL, say it like it is I always say. Thanks for the smile Jeanie :)
DeleteThat’s a very active and well used feeder. I didn’t know that crows would visit feeders.
ReplyDeleteIt is and I was surprised too but they are another fun bird to observe :)
DeleteOur mourning doves are all gone, not to be seen until probably April, maybe March if we are lucky.
ReplyDeleteWe seem to have them all year round :)
DeleteWe had lots of mourning doves for a long time. Now we don't. I don't know why. The bird feeder does give me a smile.
ReplyDeleteI am glad it gives you a smile Sandra :) I am hoping ours don’t disappear on us.
DeleteGolly gee the crows are picky picky...several years ago I had a time with them 'washing their road kill' in my birdbath. I had no idea they 'washed road kill' too funny they don't like leaves in the fountain. TOL TOL to each his own
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
They certainly are :) Wow! I have never seen them do that. I don’t ever want to see them do that :-0 As you say, to each his own, cycle of life and all that. Hugs, Denise
DeleteYou are getting birds to talk
ReplyDeleteThey’re always talking to me Red, Lol!
DeleteI saw a pair of cardinals this week and some tufted titmouse [or should that be titmice?]. I hung the suet feeder back up. We did find it in the grass and suet block was in a garden bed - discovered yesterday.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I’ve never thought what’s correct. I should look that up as you have peaked my curiosity. I am looking forward to seeing each bird. I should buy a suet block. Thanks for the reminder Marcia :) smiling at you discovering it in your garden bed. I remember a couple of bird feeders disappearing, never to be seen again. I was thinking raccoons!
DeleteAlways love the bird feeder stories. :)
ReplyDeleteThat’s great Rita, thanks for sharing that. Very much appreciated :)
DeleteNo hay animal que se resista, cuando tiene un planto de alimento por delante.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Eso es muy cierto :) Gracias por visitarnos. Saludos para ti también.
DeleteFun!
ReplyDeleteHappy you think so, thank you Christine :)
DeleteWhat a peaceful start to the weekend, spending the morning at the bird feeder. It's those simple, consistent joys, like seeing the Mourning Doves, that really make a Saturday special. It must be lovely to see the chipmunk return after such a long absence. They always add such frantic energy to the quiet scene. And I'm glad the House Finch also made an appearance to fill up your "old memory box," as you say. It is encouraging to hear that the birds are slowly coming back. Hopefully, you'll see a lot more visitors as the weather changes. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
ReplyDeleteHello Melody :) thank you for your lovely comment. I very much appreciate your kind words. You have a wonderful rest of your weekend also.
DeleteHaha good ones Denise. Remember to clean the leaves out for next week haha! :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly Ananka :) I will certainly try to remember to clean those leaves out ;) hard to do when they are falling like rain. Those crows have just got to be patient with me, haha!
DeleteYou have a nice selection of friends at the feeder. Cute photos and captions!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Thank you Eileen, it’s been fun to see them :) you have a great weekend also.
