DUCKLINGS AND CO.

These are from my archives. I have been looking at a lot of old photos lately and thought to reshare. I have a lot of fun observing all birds. On a small pond I found three little ducklings with their parents.

I am easily distracted by ducks!

Hello little ducky, hello there little friend. It's so nice to meet you.

Something I read once, I can't remember where. "Immerse yourself in the outdoors. It will cleanse your soul and make you a better person."

I am just a 'girl' who likes ducks. Okay, not so much a girl these days. I have moved forward many, many years. I am an older lady who absolutely adores ducks.

Oh ducky, I love you!

Ducky love is recognizable in any language.

Whoever said that was a wise old duck!

Ah well, rub-a-dub-dub, it's time to go scrub the tub.

Thanks for visiting and
have a great day everyone.

  6. I love the quote about nature. It resonates with me, and I think it's very true. Ducks can be very cute, and I can see why you had to stop and take a picture of these cuties : )

  12. I am always amused to be called Duck when visiting England, as in, “I’ll see you on Friday, Duck.” Sometimes it even morphs into Ducky.

    1. I remember the expression well David but haven't thought of it in years until you mentioned it. Brings back a lot of memories of friendly greeters. Where I came from in the Midlands, and further north, Ducks is a term of endearment so anyone who called you that must have liked you very much. It's like saying, "Hello Dear!" or "Hello Darling!" I heard "Hello Ducky!" quite often too. As I said, you brought back a lot of lovely memories, especially of those loved ones I knew back in the day. Thank you!

    1. That's great Sandra :) I don't see ducks that often and swans very rarely. I'd love watching swans too. Only have ever seen them when traveling.
