These are from my archives. I have been looking at a lot of old photos lately and thought to reshare. I have a lot of fun observing all birds. On a small pond I found three little ducklings with their parents.
I am easily distracted by ducks!
Hello little ducky, hello there little friend. It's so nice to meet you.
Something I read once, I can't remember where. "Immerse yourself in the outdoors. It will cleanse your soul and make you a better person."
I am just a 'girl' who likes ducks. Okay, not so much a girl these days. I have moved forward many, many years. I am an older lady who absolutely adores ducks.
Oh ducky, I love you!
Ducky love is recognizable in any language.
Whoever said that was a wise old duck!
Ah well, rub-a-dub-dub, it's time to go scrub the tub.
Thanks for visiting and
have a great day everyone.
I love the downy ducklings 🐥

DeleteI love the quote about nature. It resonates with me, and I think it's very true. Ducks can be very cute, and I can see why you had to stop and take a picture of these cuties : )
ReplyDeleteI am happy you enjoyed this Nicole :) thank you!

Thank you Eileen, as you say, adorable :) I wish you the same.
DeleteThese are awesome photos and those ducklings are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann, always happy you enjoy :)
DeleteI am always amused to be called Duck when visiting England, as in, “I’ll see you on Friday, Duck.” Sometimes it even morphs into Ducky.
ReplyDeleteI remember the expression well David but haven't thought of it in years until you mentioned it. Brings back a lot of memories of friendly greeters. Where I came from in the Midlands, and further north, Ducks is a term of endearment so anyone who called you that must have liked you very much. It's like saying, "Hello Dear!" or "Hello Darling!" I heard "Hello Ducky!" quite often too. As I said, you brought back a lot of lovely memories, especially of those loved ones I knew back in the day. Thank you!
DeleteLovely ducks. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne, they are rather sweet. You have a nice weekend also :)
DeleteThere does seem to be something about ducks. Others feel as you do.
ReplyDeleteVery true :)
DeleteThere is water everywhere here so I see ducks, geese and swans. I love watching the swans.
ReplyDeleteThat's great Sandra :) I don't see ducks that often and swans very rarely. I'd love watching swans too. Only have ever seen them when traveling.
Delete... and watching goslings is also fun.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more Red :)
DeleteToo sweet and what a great snap.
ReplyDeleteLucky ducklings to have good pawrents
Hugs cecilia

Deleteyour photos are gorgeous of those baby ducks. we had a mama and 6 of these adorable ducks in our pool a few years ago and the mama and 4 ducks got out because we scared them and left the 2 babies and never came back. we took them to the wildlife pickup place and the girls at the desk were cooking and ahhing and so were we
ReplyDeleteYou've got a good heart Sandra, to rescue the two little babies and how lovely it would be to work with animals :) Thank you :)
