SATURDAY MORNING AT THE BIRD FEEDER

Mr. and Mrs. Dove wondered whether they should have flown a little further south this year.

If you didn't see last weeks Saturday Morning Post to figure out what they are talking about, you can click here.

Have a great weekend everyone and
thank you for visiting today.

I will be posting the last of  Sean Kenney's Nature Connects Exhibit photos tomorrow (Sunday the 22nd).  I usually take the day off from blogging but wanted to share these before the new week begins.

  5. maybe they should wear both the head gear and the rear gear, ha ha.. if they come south they will be able to fly naked through the sky. yesterday at 11:30 am I walked in side to the sound of many doves cooing. odd to hear that in mid day.. I love doves

    1. That's a good idea Sandra but I think there might be more objects, lol! And that sounds very nice, I love to hear the doves cooing in the morning. It makes for a very pleasant alarm clock :)

  6. Those are the first birds I've ever seen in knitted hats. I wonder if there is a grandmother bird who knits them all...lol

  11. Interesting cartoon today when you think that the critters can't change clothing to adjust to the heat.

  16. The mourning doves are so special to me. I see them on my lawn all the time. I was watering the other day, and a white feather fell to the ground. I looked up, and it was a mourning dove. I guess it was saying "good morning." : )
