Oh My GOSH, How I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!! I always look forward to your Saturday mornings. You would be a wonderful children's book author. You are just totally delightful for all ages.
ReplyDeleteAh Ginny, you always say the nicest things. I am so happy you enjoy my Saturday morning posts :) I started my 'chatters' because a friend of mine read them to her children, though they are all grown up now. Thanks so much for the lovely compliments.
DeleteVery feisty bird being a territorial terrorist.
ReplyDeleteThey are feisty, that's for sure. A very entertaining bird.
Delete:) Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret :)
DeleteArgie bargie is a phrase I don't think I have heard since my mother died. Thank you for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteHow I love watching birds ablute. I swear that they enjoy it.
These phrases are popping up in my head more and more as I get older :) I'm glad it reminded you of your mother.
DeleteLOL This is just too FUNNY! You took some really good pictures of these two darn cute critters.

ReplyDeleteThank you Christine :) happy you think so.
DeleteLovely!!!
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated Anne, thank you :)
DeleteWonderful series on the Blue Jays. They look like they are having so much fun in the bird bath. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen, They do have a great time splashing around :) You have a wonderful weekend also.
DeleteBlue jays aren't well known for compromise and civility. You caught how aggressive they can be to each other.
ReplyDeleteTrue but as I speak Blue Jay, I am telling them that's not the way to go, lol!
DeleteLove the shots you captured of that frenzied bath. Great captions.
ReplyDeleteHappy you enjoyed Ellen, thank you!
DeleteAbsolutely charming and wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteI am happy you thought so Jeanie, thank you :)
DeleteThat was so cute! Such fun. Blue jays can be selfish bullies! I guess that is how they survive!
ReplyDeleteInstincts for survival kicked in strong with these two :) Thanks Jenn!
DeleteI love how you know just with their thinking! These are fun. Thanks, D
ReplyDeleteThank you Cloudia, so glad and you are very welcome :)

Thank you Jan, always want to share the fun times I have with our feathered friends :) Happy weekend wishes to you and all the best also :)
DeleteQuite a squabble.
ReplyDeleteIt was indeed, thanks William :)
DeleteLike the way the story developes.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :)
DeleteWhat a sight it must have been to see the Blue Jays being mischievous in the water. It looks like they both had fun dunking in the water. Water is so calming and relaxing. I can see why the Blue Jays loved the bath.
ReplyDelete~Sheri
Thank you Sheri, it was a lot of fun watching them for a while :) They seemed to enjoy their bath.
DeleteAwesome story! Those birds are so fun to watch. Some of them seem to have personalities of their own.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jim and Barb :) They certainly are and they certainly do.
DeleteYou never cease to amaze me with your talents with the camera and the speech bubbles. So Good!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet words Diane :) It’s fun for me to put together, and knowing you enjoy them doubles the joy.
DeleteSuper post
ReplyDeleteThank you Rajani, very much appreciated :)
DeleteI've missed your bird conversations. This one is quite spectacular!
ReplyDeleteSweet of you to say Carol, thank you so much!
DeleteThat look when the other bird arrived, haha. I always say that a bird feeder or a bird bath has more drama than a soap opera.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo, as I have observed these birds over the years, their personalities take shape :) And I love your last sentence, very cute!
DeleteBlue Jays doing what Blue Jays do. They are gorgeous and wonderfully entertaining too.
ReplyDeleteVery true David and I do so agree :) Thank you!
DeleteThis was another fun day at the bird feeders, and now the bird bath, Denise. Blue jays are such beautiful birds but when we lived in VA and they visited the feeders, they would never "play" well with other birds and apparently not with one another as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your recent comment on my blog post. It was very much appreciated as it does take a fair amount of time for me to do some posts. I enjoy learning about so many things and just enjoy sharing. And, it's so nice to read that others enjoy them and I do understand how difficult it can be to read and comment on every blogger's post. I read many of yours and do not always leave a comment, myself. Time is to blame, my friend😟
But they are delightfully entertaining and I do enjoy them for all their feistiness. Thank you Dorothy, as I mentioned on your blog, I enjoy your articles very much and I know how a lot of effort is put into them. It shows in the end result! :)
DeleteThat beautiful blue jay is having a ball showing off while taking his bath.
ReplyDeleteHe certainly is, thank you Pam :)
DeleteWonderful photos and a great story! We often have blackbirds taking a bath here.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nikki :) the blackbirds also have their own personality I bet.
DeleteThose are quite a pictures.. and such a cute story you wove.
ReplyDeleteThank you Hena, so happy you enjoyed my whimsical tale :)
DeleteLOL! Love this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Denise.
Hugs and blessings
That’s great and thank you Veronica Lee. Hugs and blessings to you too :)
DeleteThat’s great! Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Linda, glad you found it so :)
