Hello Eileen, thank you and I wish you the same :)
DeleteI have always loved The Rustic look of split rail fencing so much more attractive to me then the kind that keeps people out but looks ugly and of course that's what we have here
ReplyDeleteMe too, so much character to them :) Same here in certain parts.
DeleteThese fences amaze me as I don't know how they split logs to form the rails.
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy seeing that process Red :)
DeleteMy word, that's an old style fence but effective.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed Margaret, and thank you :)
DeleteLove split rain fences....
ReplyDelete"Do we have to whine....?"
Thank you BBB :)
DeleteVery old fence. It reminds me of our old wooden fence which has been replaced with a better metal one.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gigi :) These are on the Manassas National Battlefield and I doubt they will ever be replaced by anything other than more wooden split rail fencing, the way it was back in those days.
DeleteOne does see fences like that in the countryside here.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, thanks William :)
