ReplyDeleteJohn Constable is one of my favourite artists. I saw an exhibition of his work some years ago and was blown away. As well as his famed rural scenery he captures clouds superbly.

DeleteWhat do I win for identifying it as John Constable? LOL! When I was growing up in Alexandria, I loved visiting the National Gallery. I sometimes bought prints and this is one of the ones I got! I kept them in a large brown envelope and looked at them now and then.
