The same photo but I cropped the one below. We were driving by and as it was on his side I asked Gregg if he would take a photo while we were waiting at the traffic light. I know nothing about the sculpture, other than that we have been driving by it for as long as we've lived in our present home, many many years. I like it a lot but no search online gave me any information. I just enjoy. It depicts a young girl having thrown a frisbee to her dog, with the frisby in the dog's mouth.

It is a fun sculpture and I firmly believe that more art SHOULD be about fun.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree EC :)
DeleteIt certainly is a fun sculpture. Perhaps the name of the artist is on the girl's shoe!
ReplyDeleteWe're going to try and find an ID plate next time we go to the shopping center. We would have to park and hop over some bushes ;)
DeleteInteressante esta escultura, aproveito para desejar um bom fim-de-semana.

All the best,

It's on the grounds of a strip of shops and I pass by it often, always makes me smile. All the best to you too John:)

DeleteThat is a fun sculpture...you would think there would be something about it somewhere. But every now and then I come across something I cannot find no matter how much I search for it.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose, I looked again. The only thing I can think of is parking the car and taking a look. It's behind one of the shops and doesn't look easily accessible but I'll give it a go next time I'm in the area :)
DeleteGlad you enjoyed the statue and my little dog Linda. He made me smile, and I just added the frisbee in his mouth, and the bow on his tail with the heart :)
