~Mourning Dove and male Northern Cardinal~
This link is a little different, in that it explains why the cardinal got on the uniforms of the St. Louis Cardinals, the baseball team.

Always love checking the deck camera to see what it turns up. I hope you have enjoyed my backyard critters today, and thanks for looking.
Wow! You got the woodpecker with his beak open, eating. And I love how the sun is on his head. And the squirrel, nothing dainty about his manners. His nose is all the way into the seeds!
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny, there is such a difference in the quality of the photos out there when the sun is out. And the squirrel is always a little greedy :)
DeleteI suspect I would be glued to the window - and always love seeing who visits you. Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome EC. I have a good view of them from where I sit but need binoculars :) Always great to see them up close and personal.
DeleteI always love seeing with critters come to your feeder adn it is wonderful that you have captured them on camera.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret, happy you enjoy them :)
Deletelove seeing all the closeups especially the woodpecker

DeleteA good variety of birds... more and more I envy you having that camera.
ReplyDeleteGregg and I often say we see more birds in our back yard than we do when we go to one of the parks :)
DeleteFicaram fantásticas as fotos, aproveito para desejar uma boa semana.

DeleteLove seeing all your birds and other things. I never thought to just lay seed on a railing before. Neat idea.
ReplyDeleteHi Latane, I am happy you enjoy them. The bird seed on the rail seems to work very well :)
Deletei actually laughed out loud at that squirrel staring at us... and the woodpecker photos is Wonderful! they are all good and i love them all, but the woodpecker is special.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra, he makes me laugh a lot, also all his relatives, lol! Yes I agree, the woodpecker is special :)
DeleteYou are very good to these characters when you put out mixed bird seed in a very convenient place.
ReplyDeleteThanks Red, it doesn't really get too messy and not too much leftover either. They can be pretty voracious :)
DeleteThe critters must be quite used to the trailcam by now.
ReplyDeleteThey are but every now and again they will stare at it like it's from another planet :)))
