The memories of an old life,
That has taken hold,
Alas it is but an old car,
But some things are still gold.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
Wouldn't you just love to know it's story? It even has it's own homemade sun roof. Some of our strongest memories have cars in them. I can count the stages of my life by the cars we owned at the time.
ReplyDeleteI certainly would Ginny. I bet it is a very interesting one. I have never thought of that before, counting stages in our lives by our cars but you're right, we certainly can :)
DeleteThe classics have a heap of charm to their shapes don't they? Charm which I think is largely missing from modern cars.
ReplyDeleteI agree EC, I have always loved those old cars.
DeleteOh to have that old car restored
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be great if it could be brought back?
DeleteOh to be a driver when cars like that were on the road. In along ago era there were parades of old cars and I was lucky enough to watch from close up, leaning on a lamp post with other kids from the area.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing those memories Valerie, I remember the first time Dad got his old car. We had many Sunday outings in the countryside and picnics when he wasn't working.
DeletePrecisava de ser restaurado pois é muito bonito, aproveito para desejar uma boa semana.
