I was just browsing through my old blog and found this lovely dog. We found him with a club of some sort, people who had other dogs just like him. We were in Niagara Falls a few years ago, taking a break at an outside eating area, when they all turned up. I had a lovely time observing these beauties. They were all very well behaved, gentle as were their owners who obviously loved them very much. It looked like they were on an outing, all young dogs still being trained perhaps. Their humans were taking photos of them too.
There is a website with the loveliest photos of three very cute dogs, done by a professional photographer. Worth a visit I can assure you. You can see those here.
What a sweetie!

DeleteLovely! I love dogs, I love critters! We are a family of doggies. I have my one, my brother has one, mom has three and my older brother has 4...then when you start counting the nieces and nephews, throw in some cats and horses we have enough critters!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful Pam. You certainly are a family of animal lovers, that's great. We don't have a dog any more and I sure do miss having my precious pooch around, even though it's been years since she crossed over. One day hopefully, when we aren't traveling quite as much.
DeleteA trusting and gentle photo!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely way of putting it Ginny.
DeleteGorgeous melting eyes...
ReplyDeleteThose eyes have it don't they?
DeleteI love all these sweet dogs! How cute are those 'hugging' dogs? I've had border collies and they are wonderful dogs. So nice to see all the Rotts with their devoted owners, too. xx Karen
ReplyDeleteI wish I could hug one of them right now, and it was very heartwarming to see the love between them :) xx Denise

ReplyDeleteOne day Eileen :) And the same to you.
DeleteLove the hugging dogs and those Rotties are all beautiful shots. I would have loved to watch them train. some of them I had a thought that if they got off their leashes running free, how could they tell which one belonged to them... my son and his wife had 2 of these dogs for many years
ReplyDeleteThat's a good point Sandra, but I bet they could. We had a fun time being in their company for a while. They certainly are beautiful animals and how nice that your son and daughter-in-law had two.
Deletewhat fun, a rottweiler convention! this is our breed...we've owned rotties since the 1980's! such a gentle and protective breed...what a sweet face that is!
ReplyDeleteFantastic Tanya, they do have sweet faces.

Isn't it though LC? You just couldn't help but break out in smiles :)
DeleteBeautiful dog you saw at Niagara! And I saw those cute hugging dogs on facebook....just so sweet!
ReplyDeleteHi Marie, I wondered if anyone had seen those cute dogs before. They were adorable weren't they?
DeleteA most beautiful dog.
ReplyDeleteThere is something so good about this photograph.
Enjoy the remainder of March and good wishes for April.
All the best Jan
Thanks Jan, the same to you. Doesn't he have the dearest expression?
DeleteIt's amazing to contemplate the long association between dogs and humans. It really is quite unique. An old friend of mine who passed away several years ago loved his dog (and the feeling was reciprocated) always used to say, "The more I deal with humans, the more I love my dog!"
ReplyDeleteI had to smile at your old friend's saying David. It is a quote I heard from my own father many times. Always in jest and yet in his line of work I am sure there was validity to this statement. We all revered dogs in our family but then we were all animal lovers in general. Dogs held a special place however.
DeleteReminds me of my dog Lani, when I lived in New York 1970-75.
ReplyDeleteHow nice :)
DeleteHi Denise, a lovely post and from a recent post of mine you will remember we are dog people. Rottweilers are a beautiful gentle breed and from your images certainly seem very fond of the owners. Thanks for sharing. All the best. John
ReplyDeleteHi John, yes I remember your post well. Glad you enjoyed the post. All the best to you too, Denise
