Gregg enjoyed his second birthday celebration with our son and daughter-in-law last night. I didn't take any photos other than the ones of our family and I am sharing a photo of the four of us that our waitress took just before we left. We had a super time as you might guess. Our Babes, as I lovingly call them, are a joy to be with. The evening couldn't have been more perfect. The weather cooperated and we didn't even need a coat. Even though the sun had gone down it was almost as if Spring had turned a switch.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

Hi Denise, a lovely family photo, you are very lucky. Mind you could carry this birthday on for months, what an excuse for eating out!!. Wish the weather here would warm up still really cold. All the best, John

DeleteI don't think I said anything the other day...but I am finding it so hard to believe that Gregg is 70...I have went back and looked a couple times to make sure I read that right! He has aged well, well, he has hardly aged is the better way to say it.

DeleteIt's so nice to have dinner with family. I am planning a memorial lunch for my relatives to honor 5 people who died.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gigi, and that's a lovely way to remember loved ones who have passed on.
DeleteSuch great family fun!
ReplyDeleteIt was, thank you Jenn.
DeleteNot only looks like everyone was having a good time, but also that Gregg was the frecipient of some birthday gifts.
ReplyDeleteIt was an unusual gift from our son but he took note of his dad's enthusiasm when son mentioned a new type of razor he had been using. Gregg was really tickled to see his gift, which also came with nice smellies (i.e. Shaving cream and after shave) I gave a big thumbs up too ;)
DeleteBirthdays are a great reason to get together with family!
ReplyDeleteHave been thinking Denise, will you get back to Todays Flowers - but if you are not planning on it, I understand! But I hope to see you back at SEASONS though (or rather, ALL SEASONS! Miss your cheerful and encouraging personality:):) Have a great week!
Hi Jesh, thanks for asking about Today's Flowers. When I was sick a while back I had to take a break from Today's Flowers. We also had a bereavement in the family which was very hard on all of us. I have been thinking for a long while of closing the meme as it was getting hard for me to keep it up, especially if I wanted to continue my blogging. I tried but wasn't able to get a replacement host and so decided to quietly retire the meme. I hope to participate in Seasons one day, and many other memes, but right now am taking things ever so slowly.
