Dedicated to all our farmers. We have them in the family. I've had them as friends also, often unsung heroes of the land. To all farmers I send them love and gratitude. Thank a Farmer :)

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

DeleteHello, I am thankful for the farmers too. Great post Denise. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteThe same to you Eileen. Thanks for visiting :-)
DeleteWhere would we be without them? I think a lot of us take our food sources for granted but that's not to say we don't appreciate those that provide it.
ReplyDeleteI agree Valerie.
Delete3 of my 4 first cousins are farmers here and I do thank all farmers. we need them and it is a tough life depending on the weather and crops
ReplyDeleteIndeed, thanks Sandra :-)
DeleteSo true, we should thank them more often.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marline :)
DeleteMy cousin owns the orchard farm started by my aunt and uncle. My maternal grandfather for many years had a farm.
ReplyDeleteThat would be lovely to have an orchard William. Lots of hard work there too.
DeleteOh mercy yes!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank a farmer!
And now, I especially thank Organic farmers, because we try to eat organic food, whenever we can.
And on the other side of the coin, every time you purchase and consume *processed foods*... You are thanking and putting money into the coffers, of Big Business "Foods". Which I avoid doing, as much as possible.
Luna Crone
Hi LC, most definitely. I buy more and more organics when I can, and I read all the articles on processed foods, so stopped buying them quite a while ago.
DeleteAn excellent image with a great message, Denise! These wonderful people are critical to our survival. We should show our appreciation at every turn.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes - - - Richard
Thank you Richard and how very true :)
DeleteThis is an awesome picture, it looks like it is made out of sand. Farmers are awesome! They work so hard for so little. They never fix up their dilapidated barns because they don't have the money. A farmer I know said that farming is in the blood.
ReplyDeleteHi Ginnie, there is a story about this picture. It is one of many photos I took yesterday and I will share a post about them soon. I was once told that a farmer may be rich in land but not in material possessions. They give their heart and soul and every penny don't they, bless them?
DeleteMy grandfather was a farmer and I'm thankful for all the real farmers out there. :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful Marie. Thanks for visiting :)
DeleteThat is truly beautiful and yes this is so true. I must say thank you. Hugs B
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind remarks Buttons, and thank you for being a farmer :)
DeleteA beautiful post, Denise...thank you so much! Farmers work hard and do a lot, it is nice to appreciate them.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Linda and thank you :)
DeleteHi Denise, and I'm in total agreement, have several friends that are farmers, in fact I was with one of my farmer pals and his wife yesterday afternoon, they are really hard workers in any weather, All the best, John
ReplyDeleteHi John, please thank your farming friends for me next time you see them.
DeleteYes, thank a farmer. My family were farmers.
ReplyDeleteThat's great Red.
DeleteAMEN! I love living around ranches and farms!
ReplyDeleteHi Cloudia, I live in the suburbs but doesn't take me long to get into farming country. The prettiest thing is to see those farmhouses and the old barns and silos.
DeleteHard workers for sure. My maternal grandparents were farmers. I loved spending time in the barns and on the land.
ReplyDeleteI am happy you have good memories of the time on your grandparent's farm Barb. Our son has similar memories from visiting our ND family in his childhood.
DeleteFarmers are brilliant, and need our support!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I agree with both statements Jan. All the best to you too. Denise
DeleteI loved growing up on a small farm and that took many hands and long hours to work so for farmers to make a living today is particularly hard work and deserve our thanks!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly do Christine.
DeleteI can't imagine being a farmer. They get up so early and work so hard. I do envy their quiet lifestyle, though, sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Stephanie.
DeleteThis is so, so true...
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting Rose, it is isn't it?
Deleteyes not easy to grow stuffs. Takes a lot of hard work and determination.
ReplyDeleteVery true Small Kucing.
Deletehave a good day dear:)
ReplyDeleteYou too Kathy.
Deleteamen, and yet they are not recognized for all they do. People forget where their food comes from and who we have to thank. Big business has put small farms out of business and things like the bees are not protected. Some day they may learn but will it be in time?
ReplyDeleteJanice
I hope so Janice.
