HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

The Spider and the Fly
~A Fable by Mary Howitt~

"Will you walk into my parlor?" said the spider to the fly?
'Tis the prettiest little parlor that ever you did spy.
The way into my parlor is up a winding stair,
And I have many pretty things to show when you are there."
"Oh no, no," said the little fly, "To ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair can ne'er come down again."

Wishing you all A Safe and Happy Halloween!
Watch out for all the Little Goblins out there when you are making your way home.

    1. Thank you EC. Apart from handing candy out to children who knock on our door, we don't do a lot else.

  2. I know this poem! Tomorrow we have a weather alert day with high winds, storms, and possibilities of a tornado. Many Halloween things have been postponed. So for me, tomorrow will be truly scary!!
