This was taken when passing a second-hand bookstore window.
Enjoy your day and thanks for visiting.
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I will not be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
The book is shaped like a pumpkin, how original!!!
ReplyDeleteGood day, hugs Elke
Beautiful artwork!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool. It looks like something I would have enjoyed trying to make. Of course these days I don't do nearly as much crafting as I used to.
ReplyDeleteMe parece una idea muy original para llamar la atención de los clientes.
ReplyDeleteBesos.
It might draw me in.
ReplyDeleteDer Kürbis sieht sehr originell aus. Er wäre etwas zum Nachmachen.
ReplyDeleteWell it does look good Denise and it's a book shaped as a pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThings that are thought of by creative people.
ReplyDeleteI know that old books have been repurposed to create "new" things and this is a perfect example of not letting them go to a recycle bin or worse yet the trash.
ReplyDeleteCute pumpkin display, very creative. Happy Friday, have a great day and a happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh and altered art book. I love this. What a great display for a bookstore.
ReplyDeleteNice that this was in a second-hand bookstore window, a book you'd want to pick up just to see how it was made. I wonder if the pages inside are cut to match the pumpkin shape too.

Ouch says the book! I know it was probably on the discard pile.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhh I would rather have the Book of Pumpkin than the book of faces
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
Lovely and creative
ReplyDeleteIt is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
ReplyDeleteI've often seen old books re-purposed, one I really liked was made to look like a hedgehog . . . but I like the pumpkin here, and even better that it was in a second hand bookshop :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Hello! That is so creative! Two of my favorite things! Thank you for sharing, my friend. Have a cozy weekend!
ReplyDeleteLinda calabaza. Te mando un beso y te deseo un buen fin de semana.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day . I wonder what the book would be about.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool, Denise. I will pass this on to the girls. They are book lovers, and this is so creative for fall. What a wonderful project to work on. Happy October to you, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteI love that - I wonder how they got the idea to do that. Cool.
