They are taking a bath! The house finches are having way too much fun to do any chatting, and they are very feisty The video is noisy fair warning. There was some kind of saw being used. You can tap the sound icon bottom left of the video if it bothers you.

SATURDAY MORNING AT THE BIRD FEEDER - SPLISH-SPLASH…
In the meantime, and an hour after the finches left…
“Wendy, are you there?”
“I have been hiding, are they all gone yet?”
Wendy the Water Nymph took a while to come out of the fountain, and the sun stayed under a cloud to give her a little more time. Her friend the squirrel stayed long enough for her to feel safe.
She of the House said she is very happy the birds are finally using the bird bath, at least that’s what squirrel told the water nymph. Wendy the Water Nymph wasn’t so sure.
She didn’t know what to think after all the chaos she saw, along with the racket. Squirrel told her there were a lot of tree branches being sawn off after the thunderstorms and windy weather from a couple of weeks ago. She stayed inside the fountain until it was all quiet. It took a while!
That’s how it goes at this week’s
Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder/Water Bath(?)
We all hope you are well and thank you for visiting.
Take good care of yourselves and see you next time.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I will not be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

Denis, it's so cozy at your place, there's no boredom :))
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Andreja!
Thank you very much Andreja, I appreciate your warm comments. Greetings to you also, Denise
DeleteLOL...such a fun video!
ReplyDeleteHappy you think so Anjie, thank you :)
DeleteWonderful video, Denise—the little birds are so cute.
ReplyDeleteJust listening to them is pure happiness!
Thank you!
My pleasure and thank you very much Katerina. I agree with you 100 percent, birds are pure happiness to me :)
DeleteWell, the finches have finally arrived for their bath, and the squirrel is here too. The video is great—the only thing that’s a bit annoying is the sound of the saw, though I suppose that’s unavoidable when dealing with branches. It’s stormy where I am.
ReplyDeleteI haven’t slept well for the past two days because of my MS, so I’ll just have to rest during the day instead!
I hope you’re all doing well. Have a great day! Hugs, Elke.
Hello Dear Elke, yes they have :) I agree, the saw was a bit annoying and my bad luck that the only day the birds showed themselves, was the day my whole neighborhood seemed to be having trees trimmed :0 I hope you get a better night’s sleep tonight. I agree, you must rest as much as you can. All’s well thank you my friend, and you have a great day also with a lot of rest. Hugs, Denise
DeleteLove your bird bath and birds! Is that a solar fountain the middle?:I want one!
ReplyDeleteThat is great Kay and yes it is a solar fountain but I think the solar part is above the camera platform which we don’t see in this picture. The make is a Birdfy if you want to check them out. They have the bird feeders too :)
DeleteHow delightful to watch them taking a bath! It is like how it calms you to watch an aquarium of fish. I could watch all day.
ReplyDeleteI am very happy you think so Ginny :) you hit the nail on the head. If I am inside and I see any land it has the ability for me to turn the movie on so I can see them live on my iPhone but my reflexes are super slow and I also forget to turn it on. Having seconds to react is also an issue :) Like you, I could watch birds all day.
DeleteJust love seeing the little feathered friends splashing away! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too Rita, it is perfect entertainment for me :)
DeleteWhat a delightful video Denise, so enjoyed watching the finches bathing and having fun there. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure Margaret, that’s wonderful and thank you too. They are fun to watch :)
DeleteI liked seeing the video.
ReplyDeleteThank you for telling me John, so kind of you :)
DeleteThose finches were having fun. I love watching birds in a bird bath. Looks like two of them didn't agree on who's turn it was though
ReplyDeleteThey certainly were. I have noticed they are a bit more territorial and are quite feisty with each other :)
DeleteThat video made me smile, I did enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI find watching the birds (and other visitors) in the garden so relaxing.
Enjoy your weekend Denise.
All the best Jan
So glad Jan :) and me too on watching the birds. Enjoy your weekend also. All the best, Denise.
