Wishing you all
A Very Happy First Day of the Month.
These were growing like a carpet in a lot of yards 200 miles south of here. A very pretty flower, identified as Spring Starflower, also known as Starlikes and Mexican star (Ipheion uniforum).

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I will not be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
Thank you for posting the pretty flowers
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Ruby Rose and the Big Little Angels 3 :) I am happy to post flowers, they are smile bringers for sure.
DeleteI have never seen these, they are adorable! But I do think the wild violets are coming up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ginny, I will keep an eye open for those wild violets :)
DeleteThey do look wonderful Denise, and I guess you make the heart which is very nice.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret, I have appreciate that very much :)
DeleteI've seen the wild violets. I think but never these. They're very pretty
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty, it’s been a while since I was in that area. I wonder if they are still growing profusely. I haven’t seen them up here at all.
DeleteI don’t think I have ever seen this flower. Very pretty it is, too, I will certainly be keeping an eye out for violets. Yesterday, on my walk, I saw Coltsfoot, almost always the first flower along woodland paths.
ReplyDeleteI would be very happy to see Coltsfoot David :)
DeleteHello Denise,
ReplyDeleteThe star flower is beautiful. Happy April, have a great day!
Thank you Eileen, the same to you :)
DeleteThey’re very pretty.
ReplyDeleteAgree John, thank you :)
DeleteWe have a very tiny blue flower that grows here, a native and it has the darling name- it is a bluet.. I must look up if that is correct spelling, dang computer kept changing it to Bluetooth! Yes, that is spelled right!
ReplyDeleteI have seen the bluets here Kay but haven’t been going on any long walks lately, and can’t remember where I saw them. Lol! Darned autocorrect! It’s given me some doozies :)
DeleteHappy April 1st! Love the flowers!
ReplyDeletehugs

DeleteSpring here is slowly showing. We had a good rain yesterday. Much needed as we are still in drought even after all our snow. Only a few crocus so far in bloom.
ReplyDeleteHello Marcia, sorry about that. Looks like you need more rain but I know we are all ready for warmth and sunshine. Here’s to many crocuses blooming very soon :)
DeleteI like them, both white and blue. Have a wonderful new month, Denise.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Thank you Angie, I wish you the same :)
DeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you Janice, they certainly are :)
DeleteWe see violets here too, but not yet.
ReplyDeleteThat’s great, I don’t see any here either. They will take a little longer I think :) Thanks Linda :)
DeleteThese flowers are tall enough to stick out of the grass and be noticed.
ReplyDeleteYes they are :)

DeleteI'm a day behind but glad I stopped by because those beautiful spring flowers made me smile. We have some April showers right now, but I'm hoping we don't have to wait for May until spring flowers come from the rain. I hope it was a super start to the new month.
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice of you Erika, thank you :) We are having our dose of rain showers also.
Deletethose stars are goregeous, we have tiny stars too but not like these, they are blue, and we have white flowers that look like daisies and are so small can hardly see them
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, they are a lovely little flower I agree :) I would love to see your white daisy. I bet they look pretty.
