Oh magical the winter night! Illusory this stretch
Of unimaginable grays; so shadowy a sketch
Only the fading inks of spirit artistry can etch.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I will not be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

DeleteWe awoke not to snow dressing the trees but a white coating of ice. Is that called rime? It's all melted now as our temps exceed 32.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what that is Marcia but it sounds gorgeous! I remember us driving south after an ice storm and all the trees looked like they had crystal branches. Nature surely is marvelous!

DeleteI do wish there was more night to the winter. It's already light at 5pm again. But I tell you, I LOVE when it's dark in the afternoon. Yes, please and thank you. So much I love that.
ReplyDeleteI can understand that Ivy, I feel the same way. I love it too and twilight :) Also my dear other half calls me the mole woman, lol! Here I am typing this to you with all the lights out with only the light of the computer screen, smiling here. In childhood it was dad turning off the lights to save on our electricity bill. We loved it, didn't know it was for a cause, smiling again. I don't think he realized he was setting me up not to be afraid of the dark and actually enjoying it inside and outside of the house.
DeleteI LOVE reading this comment and guess what? It's about noon, the drew the curtains closed and the candles are on. The light of the laptop screen as I read blogs, also SMILING. Lunch cooking so some light from the kitchen spills through.
DeleteSounds lovely and we will keep smiling :)
