WHILE SHARING ABOUT BEARS YESTERDAY...

I found this one from a summer road trip, August-September 2013 at the entrance of a homestead. We were driving through Wyoming.

While not able to get out and about, I am very grateful for these old photos to share.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

  1. That is kind of strange, having a bear do a milk advertisement!

    1. I know what you mean but I think because it was in the middle of Wyoming and with all the bears about, the people decided on the bear carving for their milk sign :)

  2. This carved wooden bear is absolutely beautiful!
It's snowing here again too, so I'm not going out today either!
    Safety first!
Have a relaxing day, hugs Elke

    1. Greetings Elke! I thought so too. Enjoy your falling snow. It always looks so pretty when the flakes come down but as you say, safety first :) You have a relaxing day also, hugs Denise

  9. Hope you're staying warm. Very cold here and I have to go out for a doctor check up later this morning.

    1. Hi Marcia, I hope your checkup went well :) Very cold here too, 15 degrees F. in my part of Virginia, going down to 7 tonight, but at least no snow. We still have to watch out for ice so no walkies for me for a while. Even the deck looks treacherous. I'm sitting here with a blanket over my lap and a throw over my shoulders :))) You stay warm too.

  10. Tonight we have another band of wintry weather this time just fluffy snow (not ice like last weekend) but it will only be 23 tomorrow all day with gusty wind. We expect 3-6"
Warm hugs I hope the birdies wear their winter feathers tomorrow during their chat.

    1. That's interesting Cecilia, my sister-in-law is going to be getting the same weather but she's down in NC. The birds don't have their winter coats on. I'm going to have to help with that situation :)))

    1. Hi Sandie, we had about a foot of snow and then it immediately turned into thick, thick ice. Hubby tried to dig us out, but he said it was impossible, so we couldn't get the car out of the garage. Fortunately, today we had a welcome knock on the door. More to follow on Sunday :)
