I find myself looking forward to a spring walk at Meadowlark Gardens. I was leafing through my flower photos this past week and found these.
The flower bed around the fountain outside the visitor center, changes each season. This was one of my favorite displays, surrounded by the most beautiful tulips. A marker said their names were Angelique, Blue Spectacle and Yellow Mountain.
There was a whole carpet of these pretty flowers.
The photo below shows the same flower that I have in one of my collages above.
I am looking forward to everything turning green again with all the spring flowers blooming.

DeleteWe’re now into the second half of January so spring is a little closer, and I already notice the days getting a little longer. Perhaps the snowdrops will emerge early this year.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing all these beautiful blooms. The flowers around the fountain are gorgeous. and so is the first photo of the Measowlark Gardens. Solomons Seal grows in my garden near the pond, and I have had great difficulty in taking a good photo because the flowers grow so low to the ground and the leaves tend to get in the way, but thank you so much for the ID which I didn't know.
