We were driving home in the dark the other night and I asked my dear other half if he would take me through a couple of the neighborhoods around here. This is what we found.
I am not one for decorating for Halloween, never have been. I made Halloween Cookies when our son was young and all his friends were visiting, but those designs were about as tame as it could get. I enjoy seeing how others decorate their front gardens. Skeletons were very popular this year! I think these would give me nightmares.
From the same front yard.
I recognize Beetlejuice.
He went 'thataway!'
At another home.
And another.
And another.

Thanks for looking everyone.
Have a great day!
What fun, Denise! Beautiful photos of these fantastic Halloween displays! Thank you so much for sharing, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteWow, those are Halloween decorations, great photos!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can hardly see anything here. A carved pumpkin in front of a door.
We don't have any children collecting candy either.
I don't like anything spooky either; I don't have anything at home; I'd rather have something autumnal.
have a good halloween time, hugs Elke
These are so much like the ones around here. OY, with so many skeletons!! I do think the last one is kind of pretty, especially with the blue and green lights. And the big white bird is very unusual, wonder what the story is with that...
ReplyDeleteI would love a Skeletons in my house, always wanted one but never did get one.
ReplyDeleteThose front yards are looking good, Denise.
Some people get right into it. We don't bother. We never celebrated in Australia when I was young but the American influence has seeped into our culture and so some younger people decorate .
ReplyDeleteI am okay seeing what other people do for decorations but I have never been into decorating, either. In fact, not for any holidays except I used to put up a tree for Christmas. Haven't even done that for years. Maybe this year I will have a tabletop tree again. :)
