“Never deprive someone of hope, it might be all they have.”
and
A golden moon upon the tide,
Its glow reflected far and wide.
Twinkling stars in velvet sky,
Whispering dreams as waves drift by.
A lighthouse stands with steadfast grace,
Its beacon guiding through the space.
While on the sea, with sails unfurled,
A crimson yacht explores the world.
Upon its sail, a dove takes flight,
Clutching hope in wings so light.
An olive branch in gentle hold,
A promise cast in moonlight’s gold
Through mist that dances soft and white,
Hope sail’s on, a guiding light.
Beautiful illustration and post on hope, Denise. Thank π you so much, dear friend π§‘
ReplyDeleteDid you write this poem about the image? It is so good!!! And I love this red sail!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading a book about Hope. It is very important for mental health for us all to have hope.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday π
ReplyDeleteIf hope dies, then so does life.
ReplyDeleteHope it a fragile essential.
ReplyDeleteWhat a luminous blend of imagery and meaning. Your words carry hope like the dove on the sail, quietly steady amid shifting tides and endless night
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words. What a wonderful quote.
ReplyDeleteDisturbing news today. All we have is hope that another war is not part of our future.
ReplyDeleteHello Denise,
ReplyDeleteLove the poem , yes we must all have hope.
Take care, have a wonderful week!

ReplyDeleteWhen you lose hope all is lost, unfortunately. I can only imagine the dread of Jews being unloaded from the cattle cars at Auschwitz, facing their short walk to the gas chambers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post today. I love it all. The quote is spot on. I love the poem and the picture to go with it all is delightful
ReplyDeleteA beautiful message for a Sunday morning, Denise. Hope! The picture is wonderful too. It would make a lovely rug hooking project. ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful poem and photo
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
losing all hope is a deadly thing for the person who loses it. I was in that hole and have had to struggle for months to get back to having hope, depression is hard to get rid of and HOPE is the answer and also hard to get back when lost
ReplyDeleteLovely words, Denise.
ReplyDeleteLovely :-D
ReplyDeletePobre del ser humano si se pierde la esperanza.
