The doves are excellent coaches.

  1. The squirrel actually climbed that skinny slick pole!!! And the first video is so funny! As soon as the dove leaves, the squirrel comes flying in like some kind of bird!!

  4. Hello,
Love the sweet doves. The squirrels tend to chase off the birds.
    Take care, enjoy your day!

  6. I am thinking you might be wrong about the coaching thing. from that last video the swinging acrobat stealing seeds is an amazing feat and the doves are totally ignoring him/her... I love doves, they are such sweet and gentle birds and there coos are music to hear

    1. They are definitely the best acrobats around here :) Each squirrel has a different technique for getting up into the basket, each one so entertaining. The younger ones who are still learning are fun to watch. They fail several times but keep at it until they succeed. Another life's lesson :) I love the doves too, my early morning wake-up call is the sound of their cooing. Such a sweet sound.

  16. That was interesting to watch. I just love those mourning doves. I'm not sure the peaceful dove and the squirrel mix together well. The squirrels are a bit too feisty and bold haha. But then again, maybe they would calm him down.
