    Mama dove sat on the fence,
    baby dove, asked did you pay the rent?
    Of course sweetie pie, I surely did
    How do you think I got her to open the lid.
    She opened the lid, and out it did pour
    a lot more dinner, to feed even four.

    1. Hi Jenn, thank you! I am really happy with that basket feeder. I have seen them but never bought one before. Some of those birds swing on it like it's a mini rollercoaster ride in breezy weather, and they don't seem to mind :)

  12. aaahhh, that's sweet. I love the Mourning Doves, and see them all the time in the neighborhood, and even my front yard. Birds of peace. Definitely precious birds.
