World Introvert Day.
“This is a day for the dreamers, the thinkers, the quiet ones, the ones sitting in the back of the room or standing on the edges, the ones who know more than they show, and feel more than they let on.
Today we celebrate the Introverts.”

Thank you Jenn!
I don't know how an extrovert would survive in a pandemic! Best wishes to you for 2021!
ReplyDeleteYou make a very good point Linda. I consider myself an introvert but I know several extroverts too. Thank you for your best wishes, and the same to you :)
DeleteI am a very definite introvert and didn't know that there was a day for us. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYes me too, I am not sure if the day is official but it is nice that we are recognized in any shape or form :)
DeleteI never knew there was a day for introverts. They probably would not like the attention!
ReplyDeleteI didn't either Ginny. I found this in January of last year and decided as I was too late for the actual day, I would post it for today. Your last sentence made me smile, I think you would be right :)
DeleteHappy introvert day and happy healthy new year.
ReplyDeleteHi Tanza, thank you :) A happy and healthy new year to you also :)
DeleteHappy introvert day and happy New Year Denise. I would say I am an introvert, I really did not mind quarantining. Take care, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen, the same to you :) And me too! Happy weekend to you!
DeleteI was an introvert my whole life until I had my two sons, something happened then and in the 55 years since they were born I have become and extrovert. my apolgies to all the introverts that I talk over
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting Sandra and I don't think apologies are necessary, that's great :)

Obrigado e desejo o mesmo para 2021 :)
DeleteThankfully I'm an introvert. I don't know how I would have made it though 10 months of quarantine otherwise! Happy Introvert Day! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha, yes I think it has helped us both. I wish you the same Happy Introvert Day :)
DeleteWell said!
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine :)
DeleteHey, a day jus for me. I have learned to live with being an introvert. I'm at the back of the bus when anything new pops up.
ReplyDeleteThere you go Red :) And I like the bus sentence. At parties I was always the one who snuck out when she could :) Crowds still make me uncomfortable.
DeleteHow lovely....

Thank you so much Lucyna, I hope your Sunday is equally nice :)
DeleteDziękuję Ci bardzo :)
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, I didn't realize there was an introvert day, Denise. There are many more of us I think. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHello Martha Ellen, I was delighted to find this last year. Too late to post then so just left it in the hopper until ready for posting again. It definitely spoke to me at the time :)
DeleteI had no idea there was such a day.
ReplyDeleteNor did I but this definitely spoke to me :)
Deletelovely words, I am an introvert who can act like an extrovert but love my quiet times
ReplyDeleteThank you Carol :)I love my quiet times there are people I feel so comfortable with I can be viewed as an extrovert.
DeleteIt seems that there is a day to celebrate everything and based on the last year, there are many more introverts around to observe this date, Denise.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed :)
DeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteWe appear to celebrate everything these days, I like to think I'm an Introvert but I'm too much of an Extrovert to admit it.
Stay safe and well.
John
Hi John, isn’t that the truth? And you made me smile. Thank yo so much :) Stay safe and well also :)
DeleteInteresting post one learns so much from blogs. Happy New Year and keep safe, cheers Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane, I feel the same way. Happy New Year and I wish you the same :)
DeleteI had no idea there was such a day!
ReplyDeleteBut it seems there are special days for many things ... and why not!
All the best Jan
Me neither, until last year at least and it does seem that way. Yes, why not! :). All the best to you too :)
DeleteOh! I was honored with a day and didn’t even know it! Still,I wouldn’t have “celebrated” any differently yesterday than I did! I seriously think that those of us who fall into that definition are very lucky in these times. I like people (I’m not a hermit) but I don’t mind my own company either. (Although it is good to be living with a soul-mate )).
ReplyDeleteThere you go Sallie :and we do seem alike :) I agree with you.
Deleteyou chose a cute picture to illustrate introvert!! nice to see you today denise, have a great week!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie, and you also :) have a great week also.
