DeleteFun! I think I know a few, too! Fireflies flash to attract a mate. Octopus, maybe 8 tentacles? Same for a spider, 8? The squid and dragonfly I have no clue.

DeleteYour question re spiders and eyes. I took a photo the other day of one that only had 6 eyes instead of the normal 8. I then discovered there are a few of the species with only 6!!! Think they all have 8 legs though. They walk the webs only using the hairs on their legs.
