I have been tidying up around here, and came across an old quiz book I bought years ago. I thought I would share some of the questions today, and give you the answers in tomorrow's post?
1. What is the highest mountain in the world?
2. What is the highest point in North America?
3. What is the highest point in the 48-contiguous United States?
4. What is the lowest point on land in North America?
5. What is the lowest point on land in the world?
Have a good one my friends.
Amazing what we come across when we clean cupboards.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is, thanks Margaret :) I have a few more to clean out too!
DeleteI love this cartoon, it is so funny! Plus, we are birdwatchers. I do not know ANY of these answers! I am awful at geography! Highest mountain in the world could be Mt. Everest.
ReplyDeleteI'm a bird watcher too. Thanks Ginny, it's fun to learn. I knew a couple of them but just like when I watch Jeopardy, I love learning :)
DeleteDunce speaking.....I was never any good at school and I am no better now.
ReplyDeleteNever in a million years! I have seen and read all your eloquent stories over the years Valerie :)
DeleteWarto czasmi poszperać w szafce by znaleźc coś interesujacego:) Miłego dnia:)
ReplyDeleteZgadzam się, zawsze są rzeczy, o których zapomniano. Dziękuję za bardzo miły komentarz :)
DeleteLove the cartoon. Never been to the Dead Sea :-) Cheers Diane
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed Diane, never been to the Dead Sea either, though I have always been fascinated by what I have read. Cheers to you :)
Delete❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you R's Rue :)
DeleteI love the cartoon! I often wonder what big boy thinks when he stares at us. I don't know the answers to any of those questions and I agree with Jenny on it's amazing what we find when we clean out closet. Today I cleaned out a bottom cabinet to make room for Hurricane supplies and I can't believe the stuff I found in there
ReplyDeleteYou know, wouldn't you just like to speak to the animals like Dr. Doolittle? Don't laugh but I can see that coming one day. They have already started :) Remember Koko? And she is just the tip of the iceberg. Smart move on the Hurricane supplies but I hope you don't need them.
DeleteI'll be watching for answers! I need them.
ReplyDeleteMe too Red, glad I found the book :)
DeleteThanks Denise for the smile and I would fail at the quiz questions, unless checking online but will look forward to the answers.
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane, I have that post up now :)
DeleteI love your cartoon!!
ReplyDeleteGreat, glad you enjoyed. It gave me a good chuckle.
DeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteWonderful cartoon, just hope I don't fit into the birdwatcher phrasing.
Stay safe and look after youselves
John
Hi John, not at all but I might ;) Thank you and I wish the same for you :)
DeleteGreat questions I think I will wait for the answers tomorrow! Mount Everest for number 1.
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, and you would be correct :)
DeleteWell...I'll definitely need to tune in tomorrow for those answers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellen, they are up now.
DeleteI remember having pub quizzes back in the UK. In fact one of our fun nights out on our last trip there was to go with old friends to their local pub that was having a quiz. The whole place gets involved. Lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the cartoon here...the birdwatcherwatchers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rose, it certainly tickled my funny bone.
