THE LITTLE TIN WOODPECKER

I had to take a second look the first time I saw this little tin woodpecker.  He can be found in one of the gardens we enjoy walking around.  No holes in that pole.  I see him quite often during the year, and he never ceases to make me smile.

The weekend was enjoyable.  We went for a mini road trip on Sunday, and by the time we got back we had driven about 170 miles.  It was a lovely sunny day, lots of puffy clouds in the sky, but decidedly nippy.  I will share photos during the week.

Thank you for all the welcome back comments.  The tin woodpecker wasn't the only thing that made me smile.  Your kindness is always welcomed and appreciated.  I am still reading and moderating comments, catching up on your blogs and enjoying my visits tremendously.  However, I do seem to be getting slower and slower doing so, but I'll get there eventually.

  7. Hi Denise,
Love the tin Woodpecker, much easier to get a decent image from, it will stay still. I am never quick enough with them at home, got a tail shot the other day.
Look forward to your trip images.
    All the best, John
