2017 CROSS-COUNTRY ROAD TRIP - BY THE RIVER IN YOSEMITE AND A HAPPY CINQO DE MAYO

To our family and friends who are celebrating, and to everyone out there, we would like to wish you A Very Happy Cinqo de Mayo.

I would also like to thank you for all the sweet and caring comments about my feeling under the weather a little while ago.  All better now and have been for several days.

We have just spent a week with Gregg's sister and her husband, who showed us a fantastic time and whom we thank dearly.  To put it mildly, it was a blast.

Gregg and I are now traveling back east but we took a detour to Yosemite National Park today.  A very kind tourist offered to take our photo by this spectacular river.  With all the rain and the snow melting it was an incredible show.  More on that later.  I am still several days behind and it seems to be getting longer, but I shall catch up eventually.

  7. Thank you Linda :) Happy you enjoyed catching up on my travel posts and thank you. How nice that your friends are in Yosemite. We hope to go back and stay there for a few days ourselves next time we are in this area. Hard to find a place in the park. I think we'll have to think about booking up a year in advance :)

  11. I have enjoyed your vacation with you! Hoping you are feeling better now. You are traveling all the areas I have not been before. Well, had a front move through Nashville yesterday and it is now wet and 51 so I will probably venture out in a bit wearing one of my new long sleeve shirts my mom got on sale! Enjoy your day.
