This is another photo taken from the passenger side with my iPad. We weren't moving along as fast this time. Our drive took us along the Pacific Coast Highway. There has been an unusual amount of rain in California and this is the result. In all the years we lived in California, I have never seen it like this.
Thanks for looking and
have a great day!
This is so amazing that it doesn't look real!! It looks almost like a gorgeous painting.

ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy and the same to you.
Deleteso pretty, I don't think my Samsung would take while moving,
ReplyDeleteGregg and I are amazed at the quality of photos from the iPad Sandra. It takes better photos than both our cameras combined. People have said they can be cumbersome to carry but I carry it in my napsack and it hardly seems a bother at all, especially as I know what the results will be.
DeleteHello, what a beautiful view! I have seen pictures like this on the internet and the news. The rain really helped this year. Have a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, the rain is the key. They have even shared satellite imagery of California and its wildflowers. Happy day and week to you also :)
DeleteLove it when the hills are anything but brown in California. You've had an amazing cross country trip.

ReplyDeleteThat's what I remembered Christine. Now I will always remember this :)
DeleteHi Denise and your still travelling on, I hadn't realised that California had suffered such a dry period, love the colours on the hillside and the satellite image is stunning. All the best. John
ReplyDeleteThank you John. Yes CA has had quite a dry spell and now, with all the rain, a road we were traveling on was blocked by a police car, because a bridge had collapsed and also had mud slides. We only found out when we asked a waitress about a certain place we wanted to visit. We saw our place but had to backtrack several miles to get back up on a freeway.
Deleteso fantastic. breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteThank you Suza :)
DeleteI so love this, Denise! It just makes a person smile!
