No recipe again but as we have been with family of and on, and have eaten out quite a lot, I thought I would share the restaurants we have enjoyed. This will replace a post where I have usually made a new dish. (I will never talk about a restaurant where we have had a mediocre meal. Fortunately those are far and few between. Everyone has their off days and restaurants can fall into this category.)
Anyhow, we have been seeing a lot of our son and daughter-in-law, as vacations have been taken and there has been more time spent together, which we obviously love.
We asked our waitress to take our photo.
The following shows what we had to eat. We started off sharing an appetizer, Bang-Bang Shrimp. Forgot to take a photo but it is something we always order. I had a Pecan Encrusted Trout. I thought I had taken a photo but must have forgotten. Trust me, it was delicious. My sides were a sweet potato mash and steamed broccoli. Below shows our daughter-in-law's shrimp dish.
Our son enjoyed the lobster tails....
And Gregg ordered steak.
We shared dessert. This was theirs, a brownie with ice cream and raspberry sauce. Not a great photo as there is too much gloss on the plate. It also doesn't show how great that brownie was, but it gives you an idea.
and we had the Creme Brulee.
It was a great evening. Whenever we have gone there, we have never had any complaints, and it has been our go-to restaurant with our son and daughter-in-law for quite a while now. The food is outstanding and the staff always friendly. Thumbs up from all of us.
I should add that I never get any freebies from any of the restaurants I go to. They don't even know I am taking special notes and will be mentioned in a blog post. I showcase them because my family and I have a great time, and I like to give credit where credit is due.
We go to Bonefish here in the Seattle area for happy hour and enjoy their bang bang shrimp, too!
