We have recently come across some old photos of Gregg's family. This one is of his Mom and Dad in Puerto Rico, 1950. It is one of our favorites.

What an interesting photo … both looking in different directions yet very much in-sync with one another. Your husband looks like your dad. I have seen his photos on your site occasionally. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat - and a treasure.
ReplyDeletePhoto's like this are just wonderful - a most precious 'keepsake'
ReplyDeleteHope this week is going well for you.
All the best Jan
That is a terrific shot.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like Rita Hayworth! Gully looks great too. Best wishes to you all
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing vintage photos. Look how nice they are dressed and it looks like they are in an outdoor shelter of some type. Handsome couple.

What an endearing and beautiful photo, Denise! Were they visiting or living in Puerto Rico?
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for including this in SEASONS! Am happy you added this vintage memory! I realized with this post that I wanted to include important events in my and everyone else's life:) )

ReplyDeleteSo good! P.
ReplyDeleteBoth are deep in thought. Great photo. Now we treasure those black and white photos.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, super old photo, you are so lucky to have such keepsakes just to remind you, something I do not have of my parents. Regards John
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love seeing old photos again? I can see where Gregg gets his good looks from.
ReplyDeleteAw. I find it nostalgic looking at old photos.
ReplyDeleteThey look good here.

ReplyDeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you!! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving a nice comment. I hope you can visit Boone Hall someday; I think you'd enjoy the tour.
This is a great photo of your parents; I love old black and white, family photos. It's wonderful to be able to look back and see our loved ones when they were young. :) I see that you're originally from Great Britain? I'm a serious Anglophile. :-D Have only visited there once, but I'd love to go back someday. I'm now a follower on your blog.
Have a great week!
Hugs,

Cute parents.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Denise. We are so fortunate to find the old photos from our families. I have a few but wish I had more..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteDenise this is such a neat photo- and I'm so glad you have it. I treasure the photos I have of my parents, but as years went on they usually divided...mom with the kids, dad with the kids...so there are many years in between that I wish I had one of the two of them together.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo! This is certainly a special find!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great photo!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo
ReplyDeleteIt is an odd photograph in some ways but full of character. I love it also.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful look into the past. They were very attractive people.
