A few favorites

I found a few favorites in my archives.  
1) Chipping Sparrow





 2)  I need some help identifying this one.  I have looked on line and gone through my bird book, but have had no success.  




3) Red-winged Blackbird




4)  Palm Warbler




5)  White-breasted Nuthatch

    Those blackbirds are very territorial in the spring... I remember one pair set up their nest in the bushes in front of the Centre Block, and the male was attacking passersby as they headed into Parliament.

    That Chipping Sparrow is a very sharp shot. I'm not much help on that beige and greyish birdie...

    The second photo is a flycatcher of some kind. Beautiful shot of the palm warbler.

    Picture No. 2 is a flycatcher of some ilk, but many small flycatchers look very similar and are best distinguished from each other by their distinct vocalizations. If you could provide a little more information as to where the picture was taken, the time of year (e.g. birds taking up residence in spring might be different species from those passing through in migration) - and any other information you might have, perhaps we can narrow it down and clinch the identification.

    I was hoping Eileen would see these...she might know what the one is. I don't have a clue. And there is another guy but he don't visit much...feel like I am forgetting someone that would know but for the life of me, I cannot think who.

    Wonderful photos! I miss our Chipping sparrows. When we first moved here and had trees on either side, they were regular seasonal visitors. We haven't seen any since 2011 when houses were built either side of us :-(
