The cold continues....

My cold has turned into a doozy and it may take longer than I thought to get back to regular posting.  I have been bedbound and housebound and not feeling like doing a whole lot.  I hope to get back to normal in a few days and will read through and publish the backlog of those lovely comments you have left. Thank you for your continued support and patience.

  2. Oh no! Nothing worse than getting a cold. I was lucky this winter and escaped without one but the friends I walk with have had many and they seem to hang on forever. Get well soon.

  10. Awwww, I am so sorry! Around here, so many people are sick. And so early before winter. Phil has a cold himself now, and I suppose I won't be far behind. The best thing I can say about this is that maybe we will all be well by the holidays and will be done being sick. Drink lots of liquids!

  17. Patty, my wife of 61 years, came down with a cold that sounds like what you got. She ended up going to the doctor and got a shot and some prednisone for it and it lasted about a week. She was mostly miserable all the time.

  29. Beling ill any time is not fun, Denise, and especially around a holiday season when it seems there are so many things to do. But, everything can wait and it should until you are feeling better. Take good care of yourself.

I thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.

Also, there are times when I delete by mistake, so if something you have written to me is gone, it's usually because my fingers have pushed the wrong button!
