  9. Be still my heart!!! I so love iris and they just don't do well in the Coastal Bend of Texas [too wet...rhizomes rot]. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!!

  14. Oh gosh Denise these flowers are beautiful -- the only one I recognize is the first purple iris, one of my favorite flowers ... I would love to see the others in person. That must be a wonderful garden to visit.

  22. I love these Irises. They ae German Irises, although during WWII their identity was changed. These days, putting WWII behind us we are again calling them German Irises.

    Have to water in the evening, so this is what I´m going to do now ;:OD).
