Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
Not a duck we see - and delightful. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThey are strange ducks, aren't they? I think my favorite is the picture where he is standing on the water bucket. I also like the pair, I don't think I have seen a pair together before, now I will know the difference....well, usually the male is the most brightly colored, but maybe in this case it's the female? Phil and his brothers had some as teenagers, their dad ordered a bunch
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely! I went out for a nice long walk today, as the temperatures here were comfortable. It was great! I went to a nature park and saw a couple of alpacas, some horses, goats and ducks, geese and seagulls. It was fantastic! The walk in nature and the fresh air did me good. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of these ducks Denise
ReplyDeleteI had a friend who described these as 'unfinished'. When I asked why she remarked that they reminded her of unfinished paintwork. Strange person!
ReplyDeletethat first shot is awesome. our Muscovy here don't have as much black and white, they are more like the sold black in the second pic...
ReplyDeleteThey're always such a 'silent' bird. And a wonderful part of our nature ... great images Denise.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking in at I'd Rather B Birdin'. The post was wonderful. Your photos are terrific for all of us birders this weekend!!
It looks like you had them cornered. Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I remember a collection took up refuge around Lake Siri one winter. People would bring them some scratch feed (I did this, too).
ReplyDeleteBut that winter was so harsh, one by one they disappeared.
