DOGGY FIX DAY FOR WEDNESDAY, 5-19-26

It really is not like I go out searching for doggy fixes but if one presents itself, my cell phone comes out lickety-split and I'm snapping away. My thanks to the gentleman and his intrepid little traveler who made my day.

When I mentioned to Gregg that sweetie
here didn't look like he had a safety harness, he guessed that it really wouldn't be that safe if the bike toppled and the dog couldn't jump out. So, I wished them both happy and safe travels on their journey around the neighborhood. Thankfully the speed limit is only 25 mph and even lower when approaching the speed bumps.

We also were not that close but because there were at times cars parked on each side of the road, it was difficult to pass where the road narrowed, and especially when there were other cars coming in the opposite direction.

Shortly after that, they turn right as we drove straight on. We both agreed that our sweet pooch certainly looked in his element, and was enjoying his ride.

Thanks for visiting and
I hope your day is a great one!

  1. You’ve captured a wonderful experience in your photos, dear Denise. The dog is fully equipped to face the wind with his goggles. It’s magnificent—and the quote is so fitting, too. I wish the two of them many wonderful adventures together and the very best of luck!
    happy day, hugs Elke

  2. How cute. I love the goggles. He sits so well in that basket. I can't imagine Gibbs ever cooperating with something like that. I'm betting Gregg is right about why there is no safety harness.

    1. Me too, and it was such a darned cute scene. Gibbs would look cute in the basket. I think Gregg had something there :)

  3. Such a cutie! I think the dog must have enjoyed the ride as it looked pretty calm and relaxed.

  5. Good to see all of your photographs Denise, but my favourite is the second one.

He clearly enjoys his rides and is happy wearing goggles.
I do have a slight worry that all is safe on the bicycle and he's strapped in securely.

    All the best Jan

  8. It seems that dogs get used to different travel arrangements. I don't like seeing them in the back of trucks.

  9. That's a fun photo set. And what a good dog to sit so still on the doggie seat.

  10. My dogs ride with me on the 4 wheeler to do farm chores and they know not to jump off when moving.
That is so cute seeing the pup go with his human on a bike.

  11. I don’t think my dog could do that. It took him three years to learn to ride in the car without panicking.
