SATURDAY MORNING AT THE BIRD FEEDER - A SPLISHING AND A SPLASHING

And sure enough, earlier in the day...

That's how it goes on a Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder.

It's been pouring with rain for the last two days, lots of splishing and a splashing even without the birds in the bird bath. The temperature dropped 34 degrees from Tuesday, May 19th at 93 degrees F., to today (Friday 22nd) where the high was 59 degrees F.

I hope you are getting good weather. It will be raining here for the next few days. Good for the farmers though I'm thinking, and good for our gardens.

Thanks for splashing in today and I hope things are going great wherever you are.

Enjoy your weekend.

"I had my swim today. I accidentally tasted the water. Tasted very refreshing."

"Oh boy!"

Here, it’s a very pleasant 23 degrees—warm, but otherwise fine! We’re celebrating Pentecost here—a long holiday weekend.

  9. It's so good to see birds enjoying the water. Rain at least means you don't have to fill up the bird bath.
Wasn't that a Charlie Drake song?

  10. That rain is coming our way tonight into tomorrow. I have a bird bath and no over ever washes themselves in it, but my honey bees love to drink from it. :) Fun post, and have a super weekend.

  12. I purchased a birdfy bird bath for myself for Christmas. This week a bird, a black-capped chickadee, finally decided to take a bath. I hope I see more birds in the bath, before it is too cold outside for the bath.

  20. How sweet! Our birds never seem to use the birdbaths. They like a puddle better--- maybe they're just too country?
