That's how it goes on a Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder.
It's been pouring with rain for the last two days, lots of splishing and a splashing even without the birds in the bird bath. The temperature dropped 34 degrees from Tuesday, May 19th at 93 degrees F., to today (Friday 22nd) where the high was 59 degrees F.
I hope you are getting good weather. It will be raining here for the next few days. Good for the farmers though I'm thinking, and good for our gardens.
Thanks for splashing in today and I hope things are going great wherever you are.
Enjoy your weekend.

"I had my swim today. I accidentally tasted the water. Tasted very refreshing."
"Oh boy!"

"Splish, splash, I was taking a bath!
"I was a splishing and a splashing."
"Washing my socks in."

Splash splash I was taken a bath. I remember that song. Hey send down the rain!
ReplyDeleteMe too, and now I can't get it out of my head, lol! Here you go, here's some rain for ya ;) I hope the clouds pay attention and will be heading your way, just for a little while so that you can get what you need :)
DeleteWhat a sweet story to go with your rain over there!
ReplyDeleteHere, it’s a very pleasant 23 degrees—warm, but otherwise fine! We’re celebrating Pentecost here—a long holiday weekend.
Have a wonderful weekend! happy day, hugs Elke
Thank you dear Elke, that sounds like very nice weather you are having. I hope your day celebrating Pentecost was a blessed one. It's Memorial Day weekend here, Memorial Day being on Monday, a special day for us too. I wish you the same for a wonderful weekend and a happy day. Hugs, Denise
DeleteSo cute at the bird feeder as always, Denise.
ReplyDeleteGoodness a big drop in the temperature you did have.

DeleteIt hasn't been raining much this week, but we did have quite a temperature drop after Tuesday. Birds have been visiting our bath but not as much as yours.
ReplyDeleteIt seems we are all having interesting weather. No doubt more of the birds will find your bath very soon :)
DeleteThose birds are so beautiful and cute. Love your Saturday bird feeder!
ReplyDeleteI always love the birds that visit here, and so glad you enjoy them. Thank you Angie :)
DeleteStay dry!
ReplyDeleteWill do Christine and thank you :)
DeleteI woke to deep puddles today and cool temperatures. They say another drop this week. I rather like your birds' pool!
ReplyDeleteThe cooler weather isn't done with us is it Jeanie? Sending you warm weather vibes up your way :)
DeleteNow I'll be singing that song all morning...lol Only 49 here this morning and raining. It's a good day to lay around and be lazy
ReplyDeleteI know, I have been too, drats! lol :) Yikes, that's cold! I agree with that! A good day indeed :)
DeleteIt's so good to see birds enjoying the water. Rain at least means you don't have to fill up the bird bath.
ReplyDeleteWasn't that a Charlie Drake song?
Always Janice and that's looking on the bright side, thank you :) Bobby Darin wrote and performed the song originally in 1958.
DeleteThat rain is coming our way tonight into tomorrow. I have a bird bath and no over ever washes themselves in it, but my honey bees love to drink from it. :) Fun post, and have a super weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Erika, now that's really nice that your honey bees get the benefit. Thank you and I hope your weekend is going well too :)
DeleteDid I hit publish with my comment on the birdbath Dan set up this week?
ReplyDeleteIf this was the comment Marcia, I hope it was, then it got through okay. Let me know again and I'll go check if there were any others from you. I don't seem to have had any problems getting them in the past :)
DeleteI purchased a birdfy bird bath for myself for Christmas. This week a bird, a black-capped chickadee, finally decided to take a bath. I hope I see more birds in the bath, before it is too cold outside for the bath.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda and how wonderful! What a nice treat! I hope you got some photos of them. I'll be over some time to check if you have any new posts up. You and Bob have a great weekend :)
DeleteHow lovely post!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne, much appreciated :)
DeleteOur bird bath is finally getting some water from the sky, albeit just a tad..there is more to come.
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
Wonderful! I hope you get more but not too much, just enough :) Hugs, Denise
DeleteI love seeing the birds using my bird bath. They all look so cute, the bluebirds are a favorite. Cute captions. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are fun to watch, very entertaining. Thank you Eileen and I wish you the same :)
DeleteIt has been fairly decent here today. Meant to be nice tomorrow and Monday...wait and see! :-D
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I hope you get the good weather :)
DeleteOh Denise, it was too hot for me over the last few days! Highs of 25C. We aren't used to that in Scotland haha!
DeleteTwo bathing bluebirds, what a treat!!! We have had the exact same weather of course, because we live kind of close to you. LOVE the froggie in the rocker!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I figured that Ginny :) glad you loved the bluebirds and the new froggie cousin. I daresay he will be back again some time.
DeleteI always like to see the birds enjoying the water.
ReplyDeleteHere in the UK many areas are experiencing temperatures of 30 C !!!
Enjoy your memorial weekend.
All the best Jan
Me too Jan, always fun to watch :) Oh my goodness, that's hot! Hope you are staying cooler in your area. Thank you and I hope your weekend goes well. All the best, Denise
DeleteIt would be nice if some of that rain dropped here.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could send it up to you Red. Hope you get some soon :)
Deletewe have a neighbourhood cat who loves to come and take a drink from our bird bath. Happily she doesn't try to eat the birds!
ReplyDeletecheers
Sherry
I'm happy she doesn't try to eat those birds too :) Thanks Sherry and cheers, Denise
DeleteHow sweet! Our birds never seem to use the birdbaths. They like a puddle better--- maybe they're just too country?
ReplyDeleteLots of rain here too.
I think birds are happy for a drop of water no matter where they find it :) Yes, it's been raining here again but great for those who grow things, just as long as it's just enough and not too much :)
DeleteIt made me smile to see the birds enjoying the water. 😊
ReplyDeleteI am very happy they gave you a smile Beverley, thank you :)
DeleteGreat humor! Your weather is chaotic, whereas Hawaii has been pretty warm year round.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gigi, much appreciated :) Yes the weather has been a bit up and down lately. I remember the lovely weather where you live.
