"Any dog visitors lately?"
"Any cats?"
"No, no and no! We are the neighborhood watch."

I love it, they are the perfect neighborhood watch! Keep your ears tuned for loud croaks!!
ReplyDeleteThat’s great Ginny and thank you! I will definitely keep my ears tuned :)

DeleteThey are doing a great job being the neighbourhood watch, Denise.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret, I told them that too :)
DeleteWe all need our guardians, large and small.
ReplyDeleteThat we do :)
DeleteAlways good to have someone keeping an eye out on the neighborhood. Safety is so important.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree :)
DeleteSafe and sound :-) I know cats hunt birds, but didn't know dogs do the same.
ReplyDeleteAll’s well! I used a little artistic license here after our visit from the neighbor’s dogs and the birds quite wisely made themselves scarce. They did the same when we had our little cat visitor but cat hasn’t been around for a while either.
DeleteHaha brilliant :-D They are doing well. :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you Ananka, yes they are :)
DeleteThanks froggies!
ReplyDeleteFroggies thank you too :)
DeleteThe frogs are functioning well.
ReplyDeleteThat they are, good little froggies :)
DeleteFroggies3 got their back.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly have :)
DeleteYour birds should also be asking about hawks! (As you'll see in my current post!)
ReplyDeleteUh-oh, I will be over to see what’s what Jeanie. I am sure these froggies are keeping watch for them too :)
DeleteIt is nice to have guard birds! Have a beautiful Spring Saturday, Denise!
ReplyDeleteVery much so! Thank you Ellen, I wish you the same :)
DeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne :)
DeleteI like how you work neighborhood watch in this meme.
ReplyDeleteThanks Red! I actually was the captain of our neighborhood watch in our previous neighborhood back in the day :)
DeleteGood watch frogs you have there!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dandra, they are :)
DeleteCute finch and the frog are great guards! Take care, have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen and I wish you the same :)
DeleteJust what the birds need—a neighborhood watch for dogs and cats!
ReplyDeleteThe idea popped into my head after our neighbor's dogs across the street escaped and made it over to our deck the other day. The birds made themselves scarce as they did when the fluffy cat used to stop by. I am hoping fluffy is okay as he hasn't been around in a long time. I think he escaped too as he seemed like an indoor cat. I miss seeing fluffy :)
DeleteWell done Froggies3, and yes I agree, all the volunteers who help their communities.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend wishes.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan :) Happy weekend wishes and all the best to you too :)
DeleteThey are so cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary, I tell them that all the time :)
DeleteI'm glad everything is happy and safe on your deck, Denise. Have a wonderful Sunday tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteVery kind of you to say, thank you Kay :) you have a wonderful Sunday also.
DeleteThose froggies look like they're doing a good job. And hopefully no more playful pups either.
ReplyDeleteSecretly I loved the visit of those pups. I miss having dogs :) but want the pups to be safe more than anything.
