A WALK AROUND WALNEY POND TODAY - A COLLAGE - TUESDAY - 4-21-26

It was 62 degs. F. on the 21st (17 degs. C). Chillier than other walks lately but with the sun shining, and dressed accordingly, it was perfect. The weather has been like a yo-yo. Today (as I write this on Thursday the 23rd) it was 83 degs. F. (28 degs. C).

I put together a few photos in a collage and I will share the larger ones once I have those sorted out.

Thanks for visiting everyone and

have a great day.

  3. Sending you warm greetings, dear Denise... your walk looks wonderful. We were also out and about in Saxon Switzerland National Park yesterday, as the weather was glorious... today the sun is hiding and I'll be sewing.

  5. When I first saw the title I read Walden Pond. That really had me going! Seventeen degrees is better than twenty-eight. A jacket will keep you warm but you can’t escape oppressive heat.

    1. Very true :) That oppressive heat and humidity is what keeps me inside during the height of summer. I am very grateful for the air conditioning on such days. I can’t imagine how the early settlers managed with that, and the mosquitoes too.

  7. Dear Denise :)
What a lovely view of the pond and how nature has decorated it's borders. Our weather has been cooler at night but comfortably warm during the day.
Until next time, take care and be well.
    Warm hugs

  8. I love all the photos, but the last one is a star. It is incredible how the weather has been playing like a yo-yo, jumping all the way to 28°C just two days later. I look forward to seeing the larger photos once you have them ready. You are invited to read the latest blog post at https://www.melodyjacob.com/

    1. Very true Dorothy, in fact I prefer them to the humidity. In fact, I can't tolerate those days. Spring is a great time of the year for getting out and about, especially after the winter months :)

  19. Lovely photos Denise. It has been really hot over here in Scotland the last few days. Yesterday was about 18C and today was up to 22C. Bit too warm for me but my ankle doesn't mind it haha! :-D

    1. Thank you Ananka, good to hear you've been getting some nice weather over there. It would be a bit too warm for me too but how I would love to see Scotland again. We talk about going on a tour there one of these days, but not sure if it will happen. Nice to dream though :)

    1. I am Sandie :) It's not exactly around the corner but it's the closest we have to our home. Considering we lived in such a built-up area, this land that was given to the local government for people to enjoy (bless those folks who donated it), is like a small oasis.
