"What is going on and who is that behind me?"
"That is Buddy Blue Jay. Someone is bored, they are adding stuff."
"She must be happy there is no snow on the deck."
"She is not happy at all the dirt it left behind."
"Oh boy!"
"Shhhh....don't tell her snow is forecast for Monday."

Love the giant blue jay! I noticed that I have been tracking in birdseed on my shoes now that the snow is melting on my deck. I’m gonna have to sweep it off.
ReplyDeleteI was happy to find blue jay. He was from pixabay. Well, I was going to sweep our deck off, but I am watching the snow fall right now (Sunday 2/22 at 3.543 p.m) Looks very pretty but will have to wait on the cleanup :)
DeleteI think Mr. Blue Jay had better turn in his broom for a shovel! We are to get some wet snow on Sunday. Froggies 3 might actually like that!
ReplyDeleteThere will be a shovel next time :) I'm watching the snow right now. It looks pretty wet too. I'm sure Froggies3 will be happy :)
DeletePick up a broom fellows, time to clean up!
ReplyDeleteYou tell 'em Carol :) thank you for the support!
DeleteHa... wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt's so lovely to watch the birds.
I really must go out now to feed "my" birds, they're already waiting...
It's raining here in the snow...
Warmest regards to you and have a happy weekend from Viola
Thank you Viola, and I agree, I love watching them. Our weather sounds similar. Thank you for your warm greetings, I wish you the same :)
DeleteReally cute. Love the dustbuster. Wish I could get the robins pooping on my car to aim elsewhere. They didn't do that the first 7 years I was at my current apartment. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda, glad you liked that dustbuster in particular. They come in useful out there, lol! I would be telling them to aim elsewhere also. Come to think of it, I haven't seen a robin in months. Just as well I guess :)
DeleteGreat. Work ahead it seems.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, especially as we will have to wait longer to clean up now the snow is falling :)
DeleteAwesome post!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne :)
DeleteI've hear of singing for your supper but never sweeping for it...lol I suppose it's only fair since they are always provided with such a good meal
ReplyDeleteLOL! I'm putting them to work and yes, it's only fair :)
DeleteHave a beautiful weekend my friend.
ReplyDeleteAnd you too my friend :)
DeleteI love blue jay too! Thank you for the laugh, Denise. Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Angie, I am glad they gave you a laugh. Happy Saturday to you also :)
DeleteThe blowers are out here on this Saturday morning. The birds have nothing to ay about that.
ReplyDeleteWe can't complain considering the amount of snow you have to deal with up there :)
DeleteI could use help down here, the front porch and the pool deck need a lot of sweeping, millions of leaves are falling, I can't keep up. Anyone who can hold a broom, rake or use clippers come on down
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are hard to keep up with especially I agree :) If I lived closer I would be right on over and volunteering my dear husband and so too :)
DeleteMelting snow really does leave a mess behind. Hope you have a lovely Saturday!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does :) and more snow has arrived, but wet this time. So far it isn't sticking. It will be interesting to see what we wake up to tomorrow (Monday Morning).
DeleteHappy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteTo you also Christine :)
DeleteHello my fine feathered friends.
ReplyDeleteI was about wash my white front porch rails from all the nasty left of snow but alas I heard pollen is on the way too. So I will wait til pollen season is over.
Happy Saturday
Cecilia
Ugh! Pollen already? My goodness, it will be the same here soon no doubt. Yes, we'll have to wait for a while to wash our white deck! Looking forward to getting the power wash out. Happy Saturday to you too Cecilia.
DeleteYour picture story is so adorable to look at and read!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, hugs Elke
You saying so makes me smile Elke. Thank you :) Happy weekend to you too, Hugs, Denise
DeleteCool! We got snow one day and it was a dusting and melted the next day. All we've had in Scotland is rain, rain and more rain. Torrential today!
ReplyDeleteWe have had heavy rain here but now it's snowing. Wet snow though as it hasn't stuck yet :) Hope your rain stops soon.
DeleteI loved that bluejay - so cute. I enjoyed your story too.
ReplyDeleteThat's great, thank you Sandie, much appreciated :)
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteCute captions, I wish I could put the squirrels to work.
We may have more snow coming tomorrow.
Take care, enjoy your day and weekend.
The squirrels just laugh at me when I hand them the broom ;) I wonder if it's snowing your way now? The flakes are smaller than before but dropping faster and swirling a bit. It's fascinating watching them. Thank you Eileen, I wish you the same.
DeleteGotta love your birds!
ReplyDeleteI do, very much so Jeanie :)
DeleteYes, melting snow can leave a mess behind ...
ReplyDeleteLovely bird feeder post again Denise ...
Have a lovely weekend.
All the best Jan
It certainly can. The streets especially look delightful but at least they will have the power washers going through :) You have a lovely weekend Jan and all the best to you too.
DeleteSnow for us on Monday too. My birds must be sick of waiting for me to clear off the feeders.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they are very grateful to you Erika :) Mine on the other hand are blowing raspberries at me, lol!
