FAME IS...

Emily Elizabeth Dickinson (12-10-1830 - 5-15-1886) was an American poet. Little known during her life, she has since been regarded as one of the most important figures in American poetry. Dickinson was born in Amherst, Massachusetts, into a prominent family with strong ties to its community. You can read more if you click on her name above.

  4. Sometime ago I read (and reviewed) a book on Charles Darwin and Emily Dickinson. As part of that exercise I borrowed Dickinson works from the library. I have to confess they did not move me greatly, and the fault perhaps lies in my dullardness. I will have to try again.

  17. I have a similar bee abode but only two cells show any action. I'll leave it up for the next generation seeing how this growing season is coming to a close very quickly.
