WE WERE DRIVING AROUND TODAY…

 with a few friends…

and saw this tacked up on a pole. Says it all, don’t you think?

Every one of us approved!  Indeed we did!

We were all just quacking away in approval.

We are spreading the word…

and many thanks to you, my very dear blogging family, for spreading that kindness in the world. You give me hope!

Added note at 8:32 a.m. on 6/11/25:

I thought to add the story of how all this started with ducks and jeeps.

The practice of Jeep Ducking originated in a small town in Canada in 2020. A woman named Allision Parliament, from Ontario, randomly bought a bunch of rubber ducks from a convenience store and gave one to another Jeep owner with a note that said, “Have a Great Day.” The intent was to bring a smile to the individual and spread a little cheer that we all needed during the pandemic.

The small interaction turned out much better than expected. The Jeep owner walked out of the store and at first, was confused when he saw a rubber duck being placed on his Jeep. However, after reading the note that was left behind, left a huge smile on his face. That night, #DuckDuckJeep was born after being posted on Instagram and the rest is history.

  4. Yes, it says it ALL! In church tonight, someone said that they think most people are not kind. You have a JEEP?? And these are your Jeep duckies? I have been snapping them whenever I see a Jeep.

    1. Hi Ginny, we don’t have a jeep. We are looking after it for almost three weeks and in turn we get to use it for our downsizing project. A win-win and I have fun with this adorable collection of duckies :)

  8. As long as people follow through on the slogan. There is not much kindness coming from elected officials these days.

  32. Look at all those duckies! You have so many unique and cute ones. I used to buy them for my granddaughter when she was a baby. Sometimes when I see a wonderful one with a fun costume, I buy it for myself hehehe. The Be Kind sign is really a good thing to see every day while passing through. Thanks for your kindness as well, Denise.
