TYSON'S CORNER AND A TRIP TO CRUMBL COOKIES ON 4-13-25 - PART 2

No recipe post today. I will be starting fresh next week. We didn't get any cooking done these last few weeks while we were enjoying our company.

The first request on their bucket list was to see an American shopping mall (I think the ladies might have had something to say about this). We took them to Tyson's Corner. I am still not able to walk around too much but I sat in one of the food courts and found an empty table and enjoyed people watching. Always a fun pastime for me. Husband and son sent me a few photos...and they came back to keep me company. Neither of them are shoppers for places like this, but once our family had the lay of the land, they left them to enjoy the mall. The Easter Bunny looked very tired...
but perked up as soon as this cute little girl visited.
You're not taking my photo are you son?
Oh, okay!
We sat right outside the Panda Express and Charlie's was a few doors up, but I only felt like a coffee that son brought back with him. Great coffee from I forget where. Not one of the regular names you see, a new place.
Our dear daughter-in-law finished work and joined us. Then everyone came back and there was a group photo that Gregg took.
There's a lot of American pop culture on German television and the youngest member of the group had heard all about Crumbl Cookies. Fortunately one had opened up not too far away from us, so we were able to stop on the way home one day.
A pose for friends back home.
I was told they change the cookies to a different variety weekly, with the exception of the chocolate chip. The cookies are quite big and some are cake-like.
I chose this one with small easter eggs on top.
It was excellent!

That's all for today but more coming.
Thanks for visiting and I hope your day is a great one.

  1. As I have said about photos of this visit before the smiles say it all. Some of those cookies look VERY big.

  2. Sounds like a fun day. I like browsing our mall every now and then. A Crumbl Cookies just opened up near here as well. I haven't been there though. My son said they're expensive and if you're going to get one you need to make it one of the fancy ones.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.

I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
