Happy day to you and thanks for stopping by.
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
Beautiful! Big Meadows is such a great place to see deer.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda, I love Big Meadows and that is one of the reasons as I love to watch the deer :)
DeleteThank you for sharing the beauty.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome EC, so happy you enjoyed :)
DeleteThey are so pretty Denise.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret :)
DeleteLovely post. I never get a chance to take photos of the local deer. Two many hunters in France and they are so nervous and rightly so. Keep well Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane :) The deer are in a safe haven here as it is a national park. No hunters allowed.
DeleteUma bela sequência de fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen, they are wonderful to look at aren't they? Happy Thanksgiving to you also and a good weekend :)
DeleteIncredible! It is amazing that you got so close.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi, thank you! On this occasion I wasn't very close. I have a zoom lens which allows me to take photos some distance away.
DeleteI suddenly felt joy looking at these beautiful faces. they are sooooooo wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThat makes me happy Sandra, they certainly bring me great joy when I see them :)
DeleteThey are SO beautiful and I love your signature with the deer! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHello Diane, thank you I appreciate that :) Happy Thanksgiving!
DeleteGorgeous photos! such big soft ears and sweet eyes. We live right beside B.M., but I have never been there.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ginny, I didn't realize you lived so close as I know you don't live that far from Charlottesville. My good-geography husband said oh yes, that's not so far from Big Meadows :))) Now I know :)
DeleteBeautiful deer, love the quote.
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine, it is one of my favorite quotes :)
DeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteSuper set of images, they did not appear at all bothered by you, wonderful. At the moment in the UK we are inundated with rain and floods, no chance of getting out with the camera, so boring.
All the best,
John
Thank you John, they were very at ease with us and we didn't get too close as we had the long lens. Sorry about your rain and I hope it won't be too long before you can get out for your own photo taking. I know how that goes. All the best to you too :)
DeleteFun photos and great quote! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ellen, and the same to you and yours :)
DeleteGreat photos of these beautiful animals.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures of the deer. They don't seem to have been bothered by your presence a all and you got some great close-ups.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Wonderful photos of these beautiful deer in the meadow. They blend in well with the colour of the grasses and are such sensitive creatures. A good quote. May you and your family have a blessed Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteThey're such beautiful and graceful animals.
ReplyDeleteAdore the Mary Oliver quote... and your photos illustrate it perfectly.
