FENCES AROUND THE WORLD FOR GOSIA

A few weeks ago we took a walk along the Boardwalk in Duck, North Carolina. We walked by a lot of shops and as there were fences in many of them, I am linking with Gosia’s Fences Around the World.
I found an article here with a few more photos.

Our little opportunists were flying from table to table to see if there were any crumbs about.
I seem to be all over the place with my posts lately, but I will have more of the boardwalk sometime.  It was a really neat place for a walk.

If you would like to see other fences, or join in with your own, you can go here. Thank you for hosting Gosia!

I take Saturday's and Sunday's off from blogging now, and will be back on Monday.  Have a great weekend!

  4. Oh I do like the fences. Tried to pick a winner but that was impossible. I like the five o'clock somewhere!

    1. Thank you Valerie, the five o'clock somewhere made me laugh. I remember having traveled a few years back and my body clock was still in my home time but I was having a cocktail at breakfast. I didn't realize the local time until later, so whenever I see that sign it takes me right back to my breakfast drink and I smile :)

    1. Thank you Sandra :) I love stained glass art whether it is something like this or in one of the churches I go to. I grew up loving the stained glass windows in my local church and have been in love with them ever since. Duck is so named because of all the ducks in the area, especially those migrating ones from north to south and vice versa. I will go into more detail when I do a post on Duck later.

  11. Denise, I wasn't so much looking at those fences, but at all the artwork. And, it's OK to be all over the place as it makes things interesting.

  12. Awesome walk-about. I loved seeing the art & whirly-gigs (the cardinal especially) and the pelican stained glass.

  13. I agree the fences may have been the inspiration but the art work is the star and that's the beauty of blogging isn't it? One thing leads to another :)
    Have a happy weekend.

  16. I found your link on the Fences Around the World blog.
I retired from the big city where every house has a fence. I now live where I can actually see my neighbor's house. I don't have to peep through a knot hole to see what they are doing. And we are still friends.
I like the fence pictures you posted. Especially the one with the sign that says,"Life Is Good!"
