NEVER WORRY....

"Never worry about the size of your Christmas Tree.  In the eyes of children they are all 30 feet tall."

  1. True. And for a while at least their parents are also at least that tall. And invincible.

  2. When I was but a child I only saw a Christmas tree when I visited my aunt. My folks never had one. I think it had something to do with the war! In later years I discovered that my aunt and uncle replanted their tree and dug it up the next year. Please God don't let there be another war.

    1. Thank you for these memories Valerie. What a good idea for your aunt and uncle to use the same tree. Necessity is the mother of invention. My memories come from the mid 50s and on.

  5. True! As kids we think everything is large. When we grow up we're amazed at how small the stuff (Christmas tree) is.

    1. The recollection of their true size as we get older is a bit of a shock isn't it?
