Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.

DeleteWhen I was but a child I only saw a Christmas tree when I visited my aunt. My folks never had one. I think it had something to do with the war! In later years I discovered that my aunt and uncle replanted their tree and dug it up the next year. Please God don't let there be another war.
ReplyDeleteThank you for these memories Valerie. What a good idea for your aunt and uncle to use the same tree. Necessity is the mother of invention. My memories come from the mid 50s and on.
