HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE - THE LOTUS

We are still early to see our lotus bloom at our favorite garden, but I chose these to share today. They are from a few summers back.

Thanks for visiting today
and I wish you all a great week ahead.

  6. Lotus flowers always have such a calm elegant beauty and these photographs capture that softness so well. Even before fully blooming, they already carry such a striking presence with their shape, colour, and reflections in the water. There is something peaceful about revisiting flowers from past summers because they almost hold memories of those quieter warmer days. Posts like this are such a gentle reminder to slow down and appreciate seasonal beauty while it lasts. I recently shared a new post on my blog too and would love for you to stop by and read it www.melodyjacob.com

  16. Hi, Denise. Lovely flowers. Koreans eat lotus roots by slicing them, covering each slice with seasoned ground meat, dipping in egg and flour, then frying them. Delicious!
