SATURDAY MORNING AT THE BIRD FEEDER - TALKING ABOUT THE WEATHER?

Ah well now, Florence Nightingale (1820-1910) was the famous "Lady with the Lamp". She earned this nickname for her habit of making solitary rounds through the hospital wards at night, carrying a lantern to check on her patients. I am also dedicating this to all the nurses who take care of their patients' needs with endless kindness and patience. That is very important to those who are feeling very much under the weather. Thank you!

And that's how it goes on a Saturday Morning at the Birdfeeder.

Thank you for visiting this week's flight of fancy.
I wish you all a very happy weekend.

"It's so dark here."

"She of the house says it is wacky weather!"

"That's better!"

"They are going to be calling her the Lady of the Lamp next."

"Who would that be?"

"Do you knit? I am cold!"

"Thank you!"

"Did you bring the birdseed?"

  1. Awww, Florence even cares for the birds. And I bet she would, too! I did not know about her lantern. So beside a cool Saturday At The Birdfeeder. I learned something cool!

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.

I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I will not be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
